21st would be better for me, personally, but it's Ether's meet and she's right... it'd be nice to have a very long time available for it so people can come from a ways off.

While I agree, it should be taken into account some of the older attendees have jobs, so as much as I'd love to arrive on the 12th and leave on the 18th I'd probably be confined by my schedule to do a very late 13th arrival to a very late 16th leave.
