A bandwagon is a bunch of votes on someone. Bandwagoning, or "wagoneering" as I like to call it, means you're tossing votes onto growing bandwagons to try to keep them moving along and to blend in.

I had started a post earlier about Blaze's unvote on Mitsy and revote on her. It took place within 8 or 9 posts and 2 1/2 hours. I think BM questioning him about it made him cave. I'd like to know if Blaze really thinks Mitsy is scum and why or why not.

Also, Mitsy, when you voted for dana, wasn't I questioning her? Wouldn't there have been at least *someone* then suspicious of her, meaning there was suspicion on her? I'll have to go back through it to be sure but I thought there was already a vote or two against her when you joined before you switched to the larger Adrien wagon.

@BM: Why won't I last long this game? Don't taze me, Bro!

@SSBF: There are some pro-town power roles that will advocate no lynch on D1, most notably the cop, in circumstances where the cop would rather use his investigative role rather than run the risk of losing a townie on D1. So D1 no lynch isn't ALWAYS scum.

Also @SSBF: You asked earlier if scum could answer for other people. Scum are the only ones who know who is and is not scum and therefore who is and is not town - barring the involvement of third parties and independents, of course. Some scum will try to stick up for townies who are being lynched in order to distance themselves from a town wagon and avoid suspicion on themselves when the person flips town. There is no reason for non-masoned townies to know who is and is not town on D1. Therefore, nobody should be providing answers for anyone else, particularly if he or she is a townie. There's nothing wrong with stating an opinion that someone's play seems to be pro-town, but I wouldn't like it if that was the only thing the person ever pointed out and never said who he or she believed to be scum and why.

I think there were a couple of votes against him, but I suppose I wanted a serious vote. I really switched to Adrien, as I said before, to anchor my vote because I was afraid of being voted for not having a vote. I wasn't aware at the time that was scummy behavior.

Whether you knew it was scummy behavior isn't the point. It can be considered a "slip" in that event. Why were you afraid of people questioning you?

That post contained a vote for Mitsuru based on flip flop vote hopping and appeals to emotion. Of course, any vote on him now is going to look like shameless bandwagonning... what the heck, I'm fine with shameless bandwagonning.

Something I picked up in my reading tonight is that Toon Fighter seems to be kinda wishy washy on his statements. eg:

That's not necessarily a bad thing, but it gives me a feeling of scum trying to make town players trust him. The way you answered me when I said I trusted you gave me that same feeling. Also, you seem to be trying too hard to keep the Mitsu wagon going. Or, alternetivly, you are just a town player, and you think they are town players as well.

Condensed version of this says: BM is likeable scum or likeable town... which really doesn't say anything at all except that BM is likeable. Four lines that say, well, nothing.

There's no reason to be scared of being lynched if you're town, not to mention voted. At all.

My top suspects are Blaze, Adrien and Asa, but you flipflopping and uneasiness of being voted really says a lot about your alignment.

As a pre-emptive, regardless of the flip, I'm most likely going after Asa next. Blaze is a real close 3rd. Asa, I still don't like the fact that you have nothing to say about your vote, but that could mean a townie that just cant make up his mind. Blaze needs to be careful with his rolefishing and defense.

I'll try to get this in before n1 starts. I don't understand BM's reasoning behind claiming vig. We don't know if there is a doc (who should probably protect BM tonight just to be safe, hint hint), so I'd like to hear from him why he chose to claim since it makes him likely to die tonight otherwise.

From my experience, there is always a scum on the day 1 wagon, and always a scum who did not participate in the wagon d1, but actually figuring out who those people are will have to wait until we find out how mitsuru flips. I apologize in advance if she flips town seeing as I sorta started this wagon.

Another note, after iso'ing q21 (who may be my prime suspect for scum tomorrow if mitsuru flips scum), he's made 4 posts, 2 of which were of no value, the other 2 being votes, with one being this L-1 vote. To me this looks like he either tried to lurk all of d1, and may have been reluctant to join the wagon on his potential scum buddy until the end so that he could look more innocent. This still has some weight even if mitsuru flips town for same reasoning, seeing as he claims that he had a good reason to vote mitsuru but did not post them, yet still put her at L-1. So that's just something to think about tomorrow
