Why Chevre, q21 and SSBF are wrong:
Chevre wrote:Richard: the Blaze wagon hasn't "gathered much steam," yet your voting. It looks like you are trying to brush off that comment. Why do you believe you should join
a
wagon only after it's garnered a lot of votes and attention?

Chevre makes it sound like I join ANY wagon only when it has a lot of votes and/or attention. This is not true, I only did it on the Blazez wagon. Like I already explained, the Adrien wagon had vanished, and with none of my other suspects having wagons that were worth starting or pushing, I switched to Blazez.
q21 wrote:What it looks like is you backing off a scummy statement after only the littlest bit of pressure for that statement.
Seriously? Why would I back out of a previous statement JUST because I received a little bit of pressure for it?
SSBF wrote:Here's the point. You completely denided Chevre an answer to her question. She asked you a simple question and you failed to answer it. Even if you didn't intentionally contradict yourself, the fact that you would jump into a bandwagon when it has a lot of steam is scummy.
Because the question was one of the stupidest things said or asked all game. As to your second point, please explain why jumping on a wagon when it has a lot of steam is suspicious. Because as far as I'm concerned, it isn't.
Chevre wrote:RichardGHP: You're at the top unless you can explain why "gaining steam" and "gaining attention and votes" are different.
Where the fuck did this come from? This little controversy was never about explaining or arguing why those two things are different? Now you're just looking for ways to make me look like scum, which isn't something townies do.

FoS Chevre

MehPlusRawr's Meta as requested (notable games):

http://www.scorehero.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=102172 - ScoreHero Mafia 2.5 (I was SK, he was VT though IIRC we never really crossed paths)
http://mafiascum.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=55&t=13799 - Mafia 113 (I was VT, he was vig. I pushed on him hard all game until he finally OMGUS killed me. Overall his play was pretty bad this game.)
http://mafiascum.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=55&t=13729 - Mafia 112 (I wasn't in this game, and his Role PM wasn't posted but it could be interesting if anyone wants to read it.)

The other games that I know he's in are ongoing. Overall, MPR is a fairly run-of-the-mill newb player who can hold his own if he tries hard enough to post actual content.

I agree with DemonHybrid that the chances of a Jester in the game aren't that high. If he continues to act in a way that makes our scumdars go off, we can take him out.But today we have the lurky CJMiller and MehPlusRawr, as well as Blaze. These three have acted much more suspicious than Mafuyu. Because of his lurkiness and lack of contribution:

Mafuyu just thinks it's a bad idea to make a claim that requires external proof, especially if it's a meta claim. Mafuyu would think that the awareness of such meta due to photographic memory would be incentive to somehow modify or exploit via it. Altogether, it wasn't a good idea to make that batch of comments.

Mafuyu notes that CJ plays like that quite often, which makes it frustrating to try to analyze someone who simply provides nothing.

Richard: I asked you why you wanted to join a wagon only after it got more votes and attention, which is what I assumed "gaining steam" meant. You said I was wrong to assume that they were the same thing. Yet now you are incriminating me for asking you a question which is supposedly out of the blue, along with a half-OMGUS.

Mafuyu thinks Surcrose's posts have been more informative than helpful towards scumhunting. It's not a bad thing, but it doesn't allow Mafuyu to get any sort of gauge on them. In fact, Sucrose wasn't even in the list of people Mafuyu flagged to keep track of while reading (Mafuyu compiles a list of interesting people while reading through the pages).

Mafuyu also thinks that a Survivor is quite possible in a Large setup.

I didn't say that.

I explained why I contradicted my earlier statement, making your post a moot point.
Here, even though you say you explained why, you seemed to signify that the two things were different.

The "I didn't say that" comment wasn't intended to seperate the two things; it was to nullify your assumption that I join any wagon that has a lot of votes.

I disagree. Questions like what she asked can actually be productive to the game. I don't see any reason why you intentionally dodged the question.
RichardGHP wrote:As to your second point, please explain why jumping on a wagon when it has a lot of steam is suspicious. Because as far as I'm concerned, it isn't.
Jumping on a wagon with a lot of suspicion regarding the person is fine as long as you give legitimate reason for it. I found suspicious because it seems like you're attempt to bandwagon a person to stay out of suspicion.

I already gave legitimate reasons (albeit pre-emptively) for jumping on the Blazez wagon.

Alright, nothing suspicious there, then.
Adrien C wrote: And so opportunistic of you, jump at something like that when you have made a grand total of 8 posts, 1 of which actually had content. Been lurking? And the fact you jumped like that when I was your opening random vote makes me wonder if you know more than you are willing to tell us about who is scum and who is not. I've got my eye on you.
No sir, I have not been lurking, I have been flaking. Sorry about that. I plan on being active from now on. But I have read the entire game, and there's been
plenty
of material to form suspicions off of.

Adrien, if you could lynch someone right now, what player would you lynch?

@Richard
Why are you getting so pissed off at Chevre? You only have 1 vote on you.

Mafuyu would like Asa, Karma, q21, SSBF, and cwf to place their votes on a player more directly associated with the recent spin of events. Mafuyu thinks singular votes on people that aren't under scrutiny are as wasteful as novotes and nolynch votes.

First off, cwf123 is being replaced. Secondly, I'm not going to change my vote to my second suspect just because they have a large bandwagon and my top suspect doesn't. Now granted, I want both of them dead, but I would prefer killing off Asaclardy instead, since he's barely even trying in this game. Last but not the least, one vote on your desired lynch candidate are not wasteful. It shows that you want to find your own suspect and convince other people that they are scum.

Karma says that he doesn't think blaze is that scummy, and therefore doesn't really feel like voting for him. What do you suggest he do at this point?

Personally, I find CJMiller considerably more scummy than Blaz at the minute. Active lurking is scummy in my eyes. MehPlusRawr has vanished again. Blaze is giving some contribution. Maybe not a whole lot, but some.

It seems almost like a consensus that those two are the way to go...it's just that everyone keeps debating which of the two is actually worth stringing up.

But the fact that both of them are almost a consensus has me slightly worried. I'm going to do a re-read, but I may end up unvoting.
