OK, make sure to post links to the relative experience for the mods in question (Plum and CallMeLiam I believe). You will be "co-modding", so it says, but I assume Plum is running the show for the most part?

Not a problem. When the time comes for official approval (before signups and all that) there'll be the big ol' post with all the important info, with modding experience, etc. :D

As for the co-mod deal, I plan on doing whatever Plum needs me to do- which will probably be behind-the-scenes stuff.

Just a quick note to say that
it'd be cool if hasdfas (backup mod for both) was given mod powers in Gears of War mafia and Harry Potter mafia
(temporarily in one, whose mod is V/LA; permanently in the other, whose mod has flaked a bit =\ which is too bad). In one of the games, we've had a number of replacements recently (3 or 4) and it's very confusing trying to keep track of who's been replaced by whom, since the mod can't update the OP.

Yea, I'll look into it and take care of it.

If an issue like this comes up again in the future shoot me a PM as soon as there is an issue and I'll be able to handle things like this quicker. I'd like to try and leave this thread to primarily new game posts.

Also, I posted in the "Need mod powers" thread, but apparently that doesn't get checked enough, because I just got mod powers today. Should I just be PMing List Mods instead?

I forgot to put that thread on my bookmarks. I'll keep an eye on it from now on. For normal mod things you should be set up normally, just pm me if the backup needs power or something like that or you have any other questions.

Choose Your Side: A Comedy of Whims

Players are allowed to choose their rolename and what side they're on (Town, Mafia, or Third Party). Role abilities and alignment distribution are decided by the moderators after a week of deliberation. Exact flavor won't be revealed yet, but if you want an idea of my style, check out my previous two modded games.

Number of players
: 25 players.

The Flavour Text:
Large Theme game based on the Lord of the Rings books and movies. It will not be movie-exclusive or book-exclusive, so if you have only read/seen one version then you can still play. Theme knowledge is not required, but recommended as always. This game will draw on all three books/movies.

Flavour will be awesome, written by yours truly. (Hint: Bilbo Baggins is not a viable fakeclaim.)


Experience:

Plum:
Lots of games, but most recently Lay of Leithian, Large Theme Game.
CallMeLiam:
Mini 656 and Mini 992.

The Name of your back-up mod
: Andrius is going to co-mod this with Plum. He doesn't have any previous modding experience on this site so CallMeLiam will be acting as the official back-up mod. Faraday is also willing to back-up, should Plum and CallMeLiam fall to the power of the One Ring.

Your current modding commitments
: Plum is in the Mini Theme Queue, as is CallMeLiam. Andrius is in the Open Queue.

Other stuff:
As previously stated, flavor knowledge isn't required, but it will definitely help. We will require anyone who wishes to play to have completed one game on-site.

The game will be run under this account, 'Bilbo Baggins'.

So you know and understand Andrius, this game will very likely not count as site modding experience for you since you do not meet the pre-requisites to mod a Large Theme game (The authority to make that distinction is up to mith and the other List Mods in their own threads. I personally will not view it as required experience unless mith says otherwise).

As such, I cannot approve you as a "co-mod" and all that that title will entail. All responsibility for the game will be on the shoulders of Plum or in the event she is unable to do so, CallMeLiam or Faraday. If you are still interested in assisting and if Plum does not mind you helping, I'll allow it, but you are her responsibility.

I know Plum is on vacation right now, so I'll make sure to talk to her when she returns so that she understands this as well.

Other than that it the app looks good, and I'll give it a tentative approval while I wait to discuss some things with Plum.

Yeah, I'm not expecting any experience.

Wasn't looking for 'official' status either, I'm just doing what was lined out for me whilst Plum was on V/LA.

QUIRKYTOWN

The residents of Quirkytown were... well, quirky. And they liked being called that, believe it or not. They drive to work with their car in reverse. They eat cereal with a fork. But the most notable thing about Quirkytownians is that they don't talk the same way other people do. In fact, they think it's fun to talk like other Quirkytownians. One day, a given person will speak in pig Latin. The next day—ooh, that was iambic pentameter, was it not?

But their claim to fame is under threat of going away forever. The many idiolects of Quirkytownian English are being killed off. Police believe it is the work of disgruntled Quirkytownians and a lone stranger fed up with not being allowed to talk normally, most certainly working independently of each other. Only 20 people remain in the town, and five of them are responsible for the linguicide. Can they be rooted out before the town is wiped from the map?
