Yes, I think the mod lying would be a first time ever. Nontheless, we should end this day as it is dragging. No lynch is the way to go, we will be cleverer in the morning.

either the mod lied to Lt. Origen (which is essentially impossible)
Yes, it is virtually impossible. If the mod lyed in the role pm, that would be the first occurance ever of a mod lying in the role pm. Thats what I meant.

Day Four

The fourth day breaks, and as the sun rises upon your quaint town, the light reveals to you the tragedy night has wrought.

Iammars, mason
, has been slain.

With 7 alive, it is 4 to lynch.

Okay.

VisMaior: Night one, just random. Innocent.
Nanook (Iammars): For lurking. Innocent.
Thok: Re-exploring day one suspicions. Innocent.

As such, that leaves darquiel, Phoebus, and Yggdrasil as the scum, if we go ahead and believe that the masons are indeed clean.

Well, I for one, know I'm innocent.
I'm not scum. I'd rather not vote at this time but darquiel would probably get my vote. Unfortunately, I think we're fighting a tough battle. The last thing needed here is to be led by the nose by scum but if there's nothing else to do...

Here's where I go..."Hmm, only two scum in a mini?"
Can we be sure one of the cop's investigations wasn't a Godfather?
Is the cop really a cop?

*sigh*

I will be away/limited access till the 9th. Cannot promise much until then.

What would that achieve?
However, I will play along.

I'm not a cop of any sort. I do not have night actions of any sort.
Does that help?

I'm not a cop of any sort. I'm not sure what to make of Jentsu's claim. His claim makes sense based on what he has said before. However, with a 4 person mason group, I would not expect a sane cop. A naive cop is a possibility, however.

personally, a 4 person mason group would ring alarm bells about infiltration first.

There's another way of looking at it.
Only one mason left. Someone claims to have investigated others but not this mason...

Last when I came across multiple masons (205), I made sure to go after them. The fact that I was naive was evil but we did have a sane cop. He was recruitable to the cult.

Phoebus: Gee, it's not like anyone brought up the possibility of a mason traitor yesterday, or the first night in intra-mason discussions. If you're pushing what I think you're pushing, the likelihood of which I discussed yesterday, then you just shot waaaay up the scummy scale.

I'm not pushing for anything.
I'm just still trying to get back into the right frame of mind for this game.
Your sarcasm does not help. Did I mention sarcasm can be taken as a scum hint?

With intra-mason discussions, you're sure someone's just going to 'fess up that they're traitor? Do you live on this planet? Go see how smooth mathcam was to MeMe in minvi4. He fooled MeMe the Goddess. Sure, neither of them are here, but it's not far fetched to be fibbing on a text medium. Forgive me if I'm sceptical.

And pray tell what you think I'm pushing for? :?

What have I done indicative of scum?

On the other hand, you
are
scum, and you know it.

About the mason traitor: I'm not thinking there is one. Seriously. If the role PMs stated that you knew each other to be innocent, as you said they have, then I see no reason to even suspect a scum among you.

Jentsu is clearly the cop. Just watch this:
Also, I really can't imagine the idea that there isn't a cop, but he or she should probably wait a while longer to come out, as there's really not much reason now... Unless he has 1+ scum found out, in which case, it's probably time to share.
Then in his next one
However, I'm really sure that there is a cop in this game, but should we really have him come out now, and have a confirmed innocent get knocked off, when there's the chance we could go without having the next kill hit a confirmed?
Then
I now STRONGLY suggest that the cop not come forward until tomorrow, regardless of results. This could be bad if we don't have a doctor.
Then about the nolynch
Seriously, if we no lynch, I can garuntee you that we will win this game, guys [...] Even if we don't have a cop, there's really nothing we're losing, but if we do have the cop, we will win the game, and I just can't imagine a game without a cop, even if it does have four masons, though at that point, a doctor would be unlikely.
Put simply, THERE IS NO BETTER OPTION, WHAT MORE DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND ABOUT IT?
He always emphasized that there is a cop, also, protected the nolynch plan. He also hinted that he investigated 1 of the masons.
I'm just wondering, would a mason traitor come up as town or scum to investigations? If he would come up as scum, it might be an idea the cop could consider, if he hasn't already.
Altough I cannot fathom why he did not investigate Phoebus, after he knew I was innocent.

Phoebus seemed innocent to me. = \ For why I was thinking on investigating Thok instead, well, he was still suspicious from Day One with the major overreaction on the part of BMQ. Also, he didn't even vote for no lynch yesterday after he did finally unvote Phoebus.

Really, I just have a backwards scumdar, probably thanks to playing scum in 6 out of the 7 games I've been in that are either over or have my corpse in them but are still going, and this is from both here and MiseTings. = \

Maybe I should start investigating the people who look innocent to me? *shrug*

VM makes excellent points. I'm afraid I've been paying attention to the game I'm in over on Misetings a bit too much to do much analysis of my own here.

Posting to show I exist. I'm not sure what to think of Jentsu cop claim; it plus the quadruple mason group seems overpowered to me. On the flip side, his claim agrees with my alignment, so he's either sane, naive, or scum.

I will say I'm not the cop.

Phoebus, 205 is a different situation from here-we had other things pointing at the existence of a cult in that game (multiple mason groups, no night 1 kill).

It does seem that a four person mason seems to be self-balancing.

Does anybody have a reason for prefering darquiel to the other untargetted nonmasons? (Phoebus or Ygg). I mean, other than darquiel's blatant lurking.

No. But we have half the people cleared by cop, so we just kill off the other half. Sure townwin.

I'm skeptical of the quality of this plan, but OK. I'll being voting darquiel in 24 hours (assuming nobody else votes her first), to give others a chance to give their opinions.

UNVOTE
.

What's this about you building up a cop claim "almost every game," Jentsu?

From the Memorable Mafia Memories/Stories thread on Misetings:
My expertise, beyond simply playing scum, is claiming cop. I set up a cop claim almost every game. It's so awesome. ^_^

Seriously. Lynch darquiel. She's scum. I would be willing to bet you significant amounts of actual money on this. No fucking kidding.

Besides, isn't it against the rules to discuss currently running games anyways? Seriously, I make sure not to let anything from current games out. I've known quite well you're Ransom on MiseTings, from talking about Seol's (IIRC) Final Fantasy Mafia here a while back, where you were looking forward to voting for ChocoCid after he had recently been permbanned a second time. I'm not retarded. Also, you can see for yourself, if you'd like, that I've been setting them up in other games, namely the MiseTings D&D Mafia. I can promise you this: I did not reference any currently running games.

Fine, I'll take your word on that, and re
vote: darquiel
. Still, that scared the crap out of me when I read that with one vote away from a lynch-or-lose based purely on your say-so.
