The moment dry-fit counterclaimed, Furcolow was for all intents and purposes dead. I wouldn't even count is as bussing - voting for Furcolow in that situation is the only logical move. But no, I don't have any evidence to suggest he is mafia - the only mafiagroup-specific evidence I have is a not-mafia tell on Katsuki.

@Sevei: No faction would benefit from pointedly holding off on a decidedly counterclaimed scum. It's what one would call a foregone conclusion, and at that stage it's far more suspicious to not vote or unvote than it is to join the lynch wagon. You can't really pin any alignment swings from the post-counterclaim voters, because their votes in and of themselves are independant of faction. That being said, agree with your "Wtf Activelurker" statement. Nightson needs to commit to the game, at least to the point where he isn't sandbagging the town down through contentless active-lurking.
Guh. The words.

What's with the unvote, Jesse?

I have absolutely no idea what to make of petroleum jelly or nightson. I am less certain about my "Jesse is a wolf" theory though. It is interesting from a mechanistic sense, but I think it's too early to tell if he's scum.

Unvote
but I'm still curious.

1.)
I suggest everybody isolate JesseSheffield’s posts. Here is an accurate summary of what he has been practically doing the entire game:
JesseSheffield, Abridged wrote:

So basically, you’re saying [insert ridiculous assertion here]?

In particular, I am not a fan of the attack on Sevei for Sevei’s vote switch to dry-fit when Furcolow claimed Seer. When you unvote a player, it is better to vote for a new player than to sit around without your vote on anybody. One does not need to have a fantastic case to switch votes, especially on Day One, and especially when your unvote is prompted by a power role claim. I do not think Sevei’s reaction was the best, but I also disagree that it was “Furcolow all over again” (as Katsuki claims). I actually think Sevei is probably Town.

Additionally, acting confused is a tried-and-true scum tactic.

This scumbag needs to hang. He seems more like a Werewolf to me than Mafia because of his attitude towards Furcolow early on -- I could care less whether he ended up voting for him.

2.)
To clarify my opinion on zipperflesh: I do not think his "disappearance while being questioned" is scummy. But I am not really liking his "burden of production" argument (i.e., "if you can't explain the case on me, it doesn't exist" mentality).

I don't understand how that's especially scummy though. I would think anyone who was accused would be like "well then, provide proof I'm a baddie."

Nightson's last action was a vote without any discussion- either he's not terribly into the game or he's kind of keeping to the shadows and jumping on the lynch of an innocent/ another scumteam. I don't like how this looks.

Zipperflesh went along with that attack, yet you don't seem to count that against him.

For those among us that are lost: Djelibeybi and zipperflesh are one scum pair. Jesse is probably scum too and Nightson looks like a good fit for fourth scum.

Unvote. Vote: Jesse

Sevei's last post is actually a fairly good defense.

I don't like CES, but I'm getting the feeling that's more OMGUS than he's actually scummy. Although, baseless attacks are a pet peeve of mine, and I will pressure someone if they don't provide any reasoning.

While I agree with him, I always get a bad vibe from people who buddy up with me. I think appealing to another player's ego is a slight scum tell.

I'm also not a fan of Nightson, for reasons already stated, and I'd be willing to pressure wagon him.

Since we have plenty of time, I think we should try to find out more about Nightson before lynching Jesse. It would be so nice to get a wolf before the next nightkill. While I'd bet $50 on Jesse being scum, I'd only bet $5 on his being a wolf. I am poor. Both numbers represent enormous sums to me.

Thus I would like to
vote Nightson

It is practically impossible to provide "proof" that a player is scum, especially now that there are no power roles in the game. In my experience, scum who think they are playing a good game get pretty annoyed when somebody catches onto them, but then does not explain why.

So... JesseSheffield is still alive. This is a problem.

Keyword is catches onto them, that implies said scum has done something worth of being caught, which would me the attacker would have a valid explanation for their attack.

What you are talking about is exemplified in mu catch of Furcolow, he was so aggravated that I had caught him for baseless attacking Dry-fit that his actions devolved into mindless babble. What you see in me is peeved town trying to discover why he's being attacked.

You make my point for me.

You obviously do not there is a "valid explanation" for Cogito Ergo Sum's attack on you. You had several options. You chose to attack gut reads, while requiring Cogito Ergo Sum to provide "proof." I, on the other hand, am simply ignoring Cogito Ergo Sum, because there is nothing for me to respond to.

The difference between us is that you are trying to
make
yourself look Town instead of letting your actions speak for themselves. And I think that's a tendency found in scum more often than Town.

And I have found that scum have a tendency to use baseless attacks. Case in point: Furcolow.

I'm not positive that Sevei is likely scum anymore. I think she honestly believes I'm scum and is acting in a way I would consider to be town seeking scum instead of vice versa. She's incorrect but that doesn't really change the sentiment behind her actions.
petroleumjelly wrote:When you unvote a player, it is better to vote for a new player than to sit around without your vote on anybody
That's a stupid policy.

Vote: Nightson

I know that he stated earlier that he lurks as town or scum but he tends to at least provide a little bit more to the game when he's town than scum. Aside from that he's proving himself to be rather useless and I think he's taking advantage of the fact that he's basically been allowed to float through the game without pressure.

Probably false, but regardless, how would you know?

1. We've been in a game together.
2. You pulled up and read through my past games where I've been both town and scum.
3. You're making stuff up.

Now, since I've played one game in the last year, which you weren't in, one and two seem a but unlikely.

But I await your post where you link to the games I was in that you read to make that post.

Both 1 and 2 are accurate actually. I'm not going to link you to the ones we've been in together otherwise it'll be clear who my alts were but I've read through...I'd say five games you were in. And actually I wasn't even reading them for you but I can link the other ones soon.
