Oh, I should mention - It will be possible (and fun) to play this game if you haven't seen the movie, however if you have seen the movie a few times and/or are familiar with the characters/plot PM me when you sign up...
And it's a really good movie, so watch it anyway...Show[size=75]

Ok, Fritzler, just wanted to let you know:
Summit Mafia is a game with "unusual mechanics", which implies that it is not to your advantage to play the game blind. It may even start with Night 1, in which case if you have a Night Role it is silly to not use it, and even if it begins with Day 1, there may still be activations you may trigger, players you can confirm/deny role-claims from, actions you may secretly (or publicly) be able to use during the day, among others.
Further, since it sounds like a "world domination" Mini, you cannot have any idea what the characters look like unless somebody has role-claimed before you in the instance you are forced to role-claim.
I know that I have yet to play any games on here (so you are less likely to heed my warning), but the merits and disadvantages of playing blind have already been discussed in a thread I began myself: http://www.mafiascum.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2726. I also know you have read this thread since you responded to it. It was determined that playing blind can be useful in a Newb game, but that there are too many risks in any other type of game (especially if such a game begins with Night) for such a tactic to be advantageous (unless the game is explicitly set up that way).
That being said, since I am also in Summit Mafia, I will check to be sure that you have read your PM when the game starts. If you have not, I don't think it will be difficult to have you strung up, especially since you will be unable to role-claim effectively.
Sorry if such discussion is in the wrong thread, but I may want to quote this later."Logic? I call that flapdoodle."-

I know, I got the idea from you. And I'll send night choices. I jus twon't know what my night choices do. This is in the sake of science petroleumjelly. (Shelper's words, not mine).
And I'll request the mod not send me info if I get it.I'm pming every player to ask they don't talk with me if we have night talk. And so on, and so forth.Surfs up dude.-

Not yet, I'm in about six games right now, so I should have by the time it's eligible for sign-ups, but I think that doesn't count. Oh well.MeMe wrote:The only experience you need to mod a mini is completing a game as a player -- not even a co-mod can get you on the list if you don't have that.
So: have you finished a game yet?
Edit: Could you put my co-mod (Cogito Ergo Sum) on the list so that we can switch places when I finish a game?-

If you are interested in playing a game blind, you may be interested in playing my game.... if it ever makes its way up the sign up listFritzler wrote:Guys, just wanted you to know I have decided to try to play a game blind. With out looking at roles or anything. Summit mafia will be the first game I try it in.Once Nightfall comes, everyone's dead...-

No -- as I said, even a co-mod can't help you with this. There is no "cutting" or "switching places" in the line. If a mod drops out, everyone behind him gets bumped up a notch.VitaminR wrote:Edit: Could you put my co-mod (Cogito Ergo Sum) on the list so that we can switch places when I finish a game?
The minute you're done playing a game, just come back and sign up!Remember...It's not a lie if you believe it. -- G. Costanza-

Hmmm... when you put it like that it does sound like I'm trying to jump the queue. (very natural for a Dutchman)MeMe wrote:
