You want me to address the "points"???
EmpTyger wrote:armlx:

I just see this as a way the mafia can get info about which good player to peg off first, plus the mafia all have back-up safe claims if even one of them knows the show.
I can easily accept that you are indeed confused about the theory behind this. But I am suspicious of you for 4 other reasons: The fact that you did in [33] that which you would soon after argue was harmful to the town. The error you made in [49] seems to indicate a guilty conscience- that you felt like you needed to defend yourself. The flimsiness of the farfetched explanation you gave in [57], which ended with what seemed an attempt to quickly dismiss the matter with “On to the next post...”. And the fact that, for someone who has “no clue” about the show and cannot even take part in speculation, you seem awfully sure that there are enough safe Day 1 claims for the mafia.
On 33: I have explained this. Organized claim != me saying that so people don't come after me for lurking during the speculation stage.

On 49: This is sheer stupidity on your part. Reread fuldu's post, reread my post, etc. More or less what happened is I said I know nothing about the show, then someone else did, etc. untill you decided to make it a mass claim.

On 57: My point was the info we were getting was not usuable by us, and therefore the mafia was the only people that could benefit from it (fishing for info). The tangent in that post was... well, if I talk about it here it will start another tangent.

On the assuming claims: I have no clue about the show, but it seems that there are more potential roles then there are players. That means any mafia member that knows about the show could make flavorful false claims based on the roles that have been claimed/eliminated so far.

Now Emp, if you can stop making irrelevant points and trying to bandwagon someone that is generally easy to lynch, can we move on?

Emptyger wrote:You were the second on the lurkerprod bandwagon. Kind of ironic how after that you lurked the entire week, isn’t it?
No. It wasn't a lurkerprod. It was an old fashioned info-gathering bw. And Nanook first posted on Friday. I've been ill since.

I agree with BJ. The town will continue to suspect Nanook because the bw lost steam.

You began the bandwagon against Nanook to lurkerprod him. Why haven’t you said anything since his return?
Now where did you get that idea? Certainly not from my posts. I got the bandwagon rolling to get some action, Nanook was on 2 votes so the best candidate. I never mentioned anything about lurking.

I'm still happy with my vote on Nanook.

As you are still voting Nanook, do you still believe this to be true?

DP and d8P:
I interpreted “to get things moving” in context to be a lurkerprod. The timing seemed inappropriate to bandwagon to gauge a reaction, at least from Nanook.

Nanook:
I might think the original bandwagon ill-conceived, but the second is harder for me to dismiss. I would like to hear some defense, if not a claim, rather soon. For while your initial absence might be defendable, I’m not seeing any explanation for your continued non-participation.

armlx:
Honestly, I’m not convinced by your explanations. But I am currently more suspicious of the Nanook issue.

You know I find it hypocritical that I am the only one being pointed at for lurking here. It's been six days since I've last posted yes, with there only being like 20 posts?

I don't know what more you really wish for me to "contribute" BJ, as I stated my defense as to why I was inactive.
VisMaior wrote:well, he does that in his other games too, so not much scummyness in that, or is there?
Funny that you make such a statement and then immediatly follow in a latter post with a vote.

You guys can run me up all you'd like, but you won't get a claim out of me, at least not on day 1 for the reasoning behind it.

this type of BS will get a vote from me everytime. I don't care what your role but pulling the I won't claim bs is not helpful.

If you are a protown role, Nanook, and want to help the town, I don't think refusing to claim is the best idea, as it will probably result in your lynch and the subsequent loss of your role to the town. You may be idealogically opposed to having to claim day 1 simply because you were unfortunete enough to be inactive in a slow moving game, but your willingness to martyr yourself only makes it easier for the scum to push to kill you. Please reconsider.
