Camn won't kill me if I have a town read on her AND she thinks my playstyle is poor and anti-town.

She'll probably kill [REDACTED]

in b4 lock

first things first, you know, while i understand that you guys (fate and chesskid principally) are high on hormones and like spamming the thread instead of doing more productive things, you'll do the game a favor if you just tune it down a little. I think you guys are town and did a good job at lynhing the etherealcookiescum but we need more reasoning and less spam to catch the tricky ones.

would have liked a little more conversation but im ok with this.

good night.

Vote Count 1.9

The numbers by the voters indicate the order in which the vote was cast. If two or more players are tied for the most votes to lynch at the deadline the tiebreaker will be the player who has the earliest active vote.

EtherealCookie: 7: populartajo (19), SpyreX (26), Jack (28), Zang (31), Plum (33), Fate (36), Camn (37)
Hiraki: 2: Ojanen (29), chesskid3 (32)
SpyreX: 1: Nachomamma8 (16)
Jack: 1: EtherealCookie (23)
Fate: 1: The Rufflig (27)

Not voting: none

With 12 players alive it takes 7 to lynch. EtherealCookie is lynched.

A day of action in the Village could mean many things. The crowd in front of the Village Council Building springs into action with a jerky suddenness, like marionettes whose puppeteer has just arrived behind the screen to pull their strings. They thrash about verbally and physically without knowing who the audience for this show is but with enough frenetic energy to amuse. When the scene is finished and the first day is done they do indeed have their unmutual to lynch.

EtherealCookie has apparently been in the village long enough to know that once one's fate has been decided it's usually easiest to simply accept it. There are no words as he is lead to the gallows. No words as the noose is fitted to his neck. When the lever is pulled and the trap door drops away the only sounds is a quick snap and then he dangles, his remaining string now there for all to see. Those who remain look uncertainly at each other and wonder if they've made the right decision. Without a clear leader no one is quite sure what is expected of them next.

The matter is soon resolved as the normal voice comes over the PA system:
The Village PA system wrote:Good evening everyone!

A reminder: curfew begins at 8:00 this evening. All good members of our community should now be making their way to their homes; a restful sleep tonight means a pleasant day tomorrow!

An announcement: the funeral for our dear friend Number 81 will be held a week from tomorrow. Any who would like to show their condolences should mark it on their calendars. A special presentation on his life and contributions will be given by his friends. For now we offer this moment of silence.

.....

Tomorrow it is hoped that a greater effort will be made to find Number 2 and his fellow reactionaries. Their presence will not be tolerated and you are being relied upon to find them soon.

Good night and sleep tight! Don't let the bedbugs bite!
The message couldn't be clearer. The crowd disperses and as people head off to their homes there is a feeling of disappointment. Not just because it was not Number 2 who ended up in the noose but also because it's now clear that this game you're playing won't leave any quarters. Before everything is played out there will be more funerals to be arranged for reasons that they can only guess and over which they have the barest minimum of control.

EtherealCookie, Number 81, Village Resident, was lynched day one.

Day one has ended. It is now night one. Deadline for submitting night actions is 3:00 PM EST/12:00 PM PST on Thursday, December 23rd. Countdown timer.

Day Two: It's Your Funeral

The next day dawns grey and gloomy. It's an atmosphere that suits the task at hand. The group that gathers at the gallows is smaller than the one that departed the evening before. A quick search of the Village reveals that someone seems to have strangled Number 69. Number 30's body isn't so easy to find and you give up before too long. Sometimes things in the Village don't have a satisfying explanation and this appears to be one of them.

In any case, your task remains the same and now there are fewer suspects to examine.

Fate, Number 30, Village Resident Mason, was disappeared night one.

Zang, Number 69, Village Resident, was garroted night one.

Vote Count 2.0

Not Voting: Camn, chesskid3, Jack, Nachomamma8, Ojanen, Plum, populartajo, Spyrex, The Rufflig

With 9 players alive it takes 5 votes to lynch. Currently no one would be lynched at deadline. Deadline is 3:00 PM EST/12:00 PM PST on Thursday, January 6th. Countdown timer.

OK.. A lot of the chaff got weeded out quickly this game. (sadly not ALL) That means that, although we are down, there aren't a lot of places for scum to hide.
I am going to post a little player-by-player.. lets get cracking.

chesskid3
- Almost total null read, due to intentional crap-posting.. which in itself is anti-town.... and possibly scummy.
dieplease

Camn
-
obvtown
:)
Jack
- I am not putting Jack-scum out of my mind. but drawing that much attention Day one is pretty town-oriented. I am sitting
prob-town
right now.
Nachomamma8
- As I stated.. he has only 4 posts.. 2 of which are playing games with numbers. He is almost as useless as chesskid.. but in a more.,.,.
sneaky
way I think.
PROBSCUM
.
Ojanen
- Honey.. I need you to come let me know that you are town. So far I am not seeing it... but I think you have been distracted.
maybetownmaybescum

Plum
- Not a lot to work with here either. Ladies... lets get with the program. I do get a whiff of town though on one of those posts.
maybetownmaybe
.
populartajo
- You are under the radar, my friend. Stop it.
maybescum

SpyreX
- I have a decent townread here.. but I think I always do with Spy. He is my blind spot. The 'him or me' obsession is pretty town, imo.
maybetown

The Rufflig
- I don't know you, but it looks like you are trying to play rite. That is good. I think
town
.

-------------

OK.. looking back at my shiz.. I see two things:

a) The ladies are hiding. So is Pop. One of those three.. maybe two .. are scum, IMO.
b) I see 2 person groups. Not 3. This could be for 2 reasons that involve our second killer. Or I could just not be seeing the triads.

Also I'm pretty sure Nacho never kills Fate as scum, if he would confirm/deny that would be awesome, but camn is the play today.

I see disappeared and garroted as the methods of killing and no way to tell which one is the scum kill and which one was the vigilante kill. However, you attributed the Zang kill to the vigilante and ruled out the possibility that it was a scum kill. How?

I'm running off your assumption that there is a vigilante running about. I make no such claims as to the identity of the second party.
Since I can't have your answer, you can have my vote.

So let me get this right.
You think I have inside information that suggests that Zang was a vig kill. This would suggest that I was said vig.
as a result of this
you vote for me.

Yeah, you can get in line behind Camn.

Wrong. I think you know that Fate was the scum night kill because you are one of the scum -- you accidently slipped up when you shared your knowledge that Zang was not the scum kill.
