This game will be based around the lead-up to Wrestlemania, beginning with the Royal Rumble, which will be a special Day 0 style event. Expect fast-paced action, fun wrestling-based roles & mechanics and all the entertainment of ridiculous WWF-based flavour! The game will feature a range of characters from throughout the WWF/E's history. The following theme rules will be used:

Theme Rules
1. Votes must be cast using wrestling move terminology; for example: Piledrive: Porkens. Votes not cast in this way will not be counted.
2. You’re in the heat of battle. You must limit your posts to no longer than 200 words.
3. Double posts, triple posts, etc. and beyond will be deleted. You must wait for someone else to talk before you can post again.
4. You may not use quote tags.
5. Terminology:
Days will be ‘Shows’ – Raw, Smackdown, Royal Rumble, No Way Out, Wrestlemania. Nights will be ‘Backstage’. A lynch is an ‘elimination’; non-lynch kills are ‘injuries’; living players are ‘active’; dead players are ‘inactive’.

Days will have fixed two-week deadlines and nights will have fixed 48-hour deadlines. If there are any questions about the setup, go ahead and ask. Anyone who's not sure what to expect from this game should read Porkens' original WWF Battle Royal.

Reck: it will be a range of wrestlers from throughout the history of WWF, but the story will be original and the tone will probably be very much older WWF, as I don't really watch current WWE.

Well, my experience of watching intensively is more later 90s-early 00s, but I'm familiar with some earlier stuff from watching old matches etc. Needless to say, I think both are superior to the present day stuff.
