If you're talking about mine. They'd end the game.

I understand jester hate when it ends the game but if it doesn't, especially as games get larger, it doesn't make so much sense.

Ooh, what if the Jester kills himself Night 2 if he hasn't been lynched by then? If you do that and add an extra townie to make 9 players, then the town will never lose their majority, unless if, of course, they actually lose the game to the mafia.

Of course, in this situation, lynches would have to be mandatory, at least on the first 2 days.

Any chance of making the vig a one-shot and giving the town an extra VT instead? That would kind of correct two minor problems I see at once.

The first is that with a guaranteed Doc, then the Vig might just claim Day 1 and then always be protected. If the Vig was a one-shot Vig, then this play would be less useful.

The second problem is more of a bonus when upping it to 10 players. If the vig (or the mafia, for that matter) kills a Jester on Night 1, this will give the town an extra lynch since there will be only 1 person dying on Night 2 instead of 2 people. Then the game might last until Day 4 instead of ending on Day 3. Therefore, the scum will want to avoid hitting the Jester while the Vig won't be penalized if he DOES shoot the Jester (even though shooting Mafia would still be better for him.)

1 Paranoid Gun Owner

1 One-Shot Sensor
1 Insane Doctor
1 Two-Shot Roleblocker
(Only works every Odd Nights)

1 Kidnapping Lover

I would try to think of an alternative to PMing votes, such as only allowing them to post votes.

Plus it lets you fake being kidnapped. If the kidnapped player can prove it by having his vote show up then that won't work.

Not really fake. In a week, someone would realize that the person hasn't voted for a long period of time, 'ya know. xD

What I mean to say is, if you allow them to post in order to vote (if you let them vote at all) then I could only post to vote (or not post at all if they can't vote) to give the impression that I was kidnapped.

Tragedy, what do you think would happen if the players decided they should all claim their roles on day 1?

A-Ack.... That's another problem, Herodotus, that I've never thought about...

Why would
anyone
exactly roleclaim at Day I? Was trying to make the roles a bit random and odd, but..
I blame you for this.

The Kidnapping Lover is the person who most obviously should claim. They want either themself or their lover to be lynched on day 1, because that means one of the scum dies.
The other townies should all claim because if only one person claims PGO, sensor, doctor, or RB, then that person is confirmed to be pro-town. And ignoring the scum lover, three of those roles will have only one person claiming them.

Surviving lover is pro-town. The win condition to survive to endgame is pro-town when you have to keep a townie alive to do it. Assuming that endgaming townies counts as killing them the survivor can only win with the town.

If they are pro-town, then why are they specifically listed in the same section and same color as the serial killer?

Surviving Lover -> Survivor + Lover.
It would've been neutral, well..

The color is because they're third party. They're pro-town, as I just explained, because they win with town. They just have to survive as well.

I see an informed minority and an uninformed majority. Minority of more than one isn't in the definition. And if you don't consider it Mafia it's a lot closer than some other open setups.
