running a large will probably lead to player issues (plus you'd need some people to play out of teams for that, and I sort of like the concept of everyone in teams)

Yeah, and I'm not a big fan of adding hydras to the game. Easier is just to do the same size. There's plenty of flexibility in that. Right now I already have SpyreX signed up to do a PYP mini game (he'll just design so he can play), dramonic is going to do one of his "crazy" mini games with my help, and then I think I'm going to do a closed normal and white flag mountainous. I think that's a pretty good spread of game styles.
The rub is that mith has had reservations about this plan (he doesn't want other mods to feel like I'm skipping the queue and just want to run 4 mini games), so I'm trying to work out a way to satisfy everyone and make this work well for all involved.
Here's a brief description of a couple of Ideas I had last night for theme games:
Parasite mafia:
Same premise of mafia vs Townies but the introduction of a new 3rd Party player Called the parasite. The parasite chooses a host player before the game starts and during every night phase. The host player then dies during the following night phase and the parasite moves onto its next host. The parasite cannot be lynched directly, but can only be killed via. the mafia or when the host player is lynched. The parasite wins when it equals the number of remaining players, similar to the mafia's win condition .
Baton mafia:
Same premise of mafia Vs townies, but the mafia also win should they claim the 2 batons from the townies. At the start of the game 2 batons will be randomly distributed amongst the townies and during each night the townies must choose another player to pass their baton onto. Should a mafia player be given a baton, then the mafia claim the baton. Should the mafia target a baton-holding townie then they claim the baton. Also, should a player holding a baton be lynched, then the mafia gain possession of the baton. Townie roles could include an extra baton creator for every 2 night phases he survives and other roles such as a sticky townie who keeps possession of a baton once it is passed to him.

^well it cannot be killed directly, so It's survival rate would be higher than most. Also lynches, mafia killings and parasite kills would increase the death rate

I think we should work out with a Parasite-Game-Themed Idea together to start with [temporarily], TS.
I think a theme game of Space with a parasite would make sense!
Either Parasite should infect their hosts by taking them over or infecting humans into becoming their spawn/sacrifice!

This idea has been done before, but in anonymafia games (so the parasite/shape-shifting SK/mind-controlling SK/mod-as-player can control the player's account directly).
Everything you say and do matters. People will respond in ways you may never see. May those responses be what you intend.
I'm thinking of an idea and need someone who is good with balancing games.
If you can help, please shot me a PM.
Also if the game works out I will need a back up mod just for the sake of having one because it's required for Large Theme Games.

So, I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in pop music mafia?
There will be one twist. Each player would have a role-wise ability (called "consequence" for now) that coincides with their charachter.
The quickest Example I can think of that isn't a role already in my head:
You are Lady Gaga [Role] [Explanation].
Consequence: ["Bad Romance", Active]: Give me the name of two people (you may not include yourself) whenever you want to use this ability. For the rest of the game, they are lovers (they still keep their previous roles). They will not be told about such.
