Hear me now, believe me later. The scum is below. The rest of you can keep waffling for eternity if you want.
populartajo - extremely uncooperative with his town-goddess, sower of mayhem.
Equinox - not buying the PGO bizniss with the rest of PRs, traitor-fishing.
Feysal - traitor-fishing.
Jack/AlmasterGM - it's all too strange.
Corvuus - buddying.Paraphrasing a role PM takes seconds, fabricating a good fakeclaim takes an eternity.

Although I don't 100% trust fishy I have been asking him questions about the players in the group. See if he had a read. How they acted. How much they post. The interesting thing is that fishy stated that most everyone as stated that they have their concerns, but felt NS was far scummier except Corv. I know from my own perspective and most players I have seen (yes even DGB) most town have a healthy doubt or paranoid if they don't know the person they are communicating with is town or not.
Apparently Corv trusted Fishy (according to fishy) because of 10 lines of time between Fishy and TMH.
I find this hard to believe.
unvote:
vote: Corv
I don't have time to read anything more in this game. With deadline looming my vote will be on one of either Corv, AGM or Benmage.Sarcasm is just a way of saying how stupid you think someone is but in a more polite way.-

...okay, how the fuck do people read "I'm not XXX" as softclaiming "I'm XXX." Doesn't saying "not" defeat the purpose. DrippingGoofball,I was NOT softclaiming PGO, I was trying to convince you to get me vigged so I canforget about this gamestop being a distraction. And because hitogoroshi is being stubborn I get to stick around like fodder.
I know Mafia is a game of trying to read between the lines, but seriously.
Got a couple of hours before I have to leave for class, so I'm going to finish up those isolation reads now and kill somebody.-

So my reading notes are turning into a dissertation. Good news is that I'm not waffling anymore.
I think it's your turn to write something other than a one- or two-liner for once. I'm going to make you accountable to this hit list.nopointinactingup wrote:btw, my hitlist, those are ppl I don't have town reads on:

Why Andrius? Why hitogoroshi? Why Lost Butterfly? (WHY?!) Why Benmage? Why AlmasterGM?
Just because the game has stalled doesn't mean you get to sit around dodging prods and yawning. You're supposedly confirmed town by DTMaster's hide, NOW ACT LIKE ONE.-

In about that order.
Benmage: I mostly think you're scum for doing practically nothing all game. You also had an odd switch of read on TMH's play after Corvuus replaced in. I thought your post where you self voted looks rather half-assed; the reads in it look like just the kind of easy thing you'd come up with if trying to manufacture some reads.
farside's statement's about the me/Corv QT are accurate; while not the only reason, my brief interactions with TMH (largely me trying to shout "STOP TUNNELLING YOU FOOL" without making him even more tunnelled) are the main reason Corv gives for a serious town read on me. Other than that, I find him reasonably townish in the QT; he seems very willing to tell me what he's thinking about things. Still, if there's a bad egg in the Temple of Time it is Corvuus.-

I'm going to reiterate what I said in The Devotional here; apologies if its boring.
If we infer the following:
a) scum are evenly distributed among the temples
b) if there's one scum among the temple of judgement
c) further justification is the one scum being in the same group as the cop (Lady LaLa)
d) FLIPS:
JUDGEMENT: Benmage. AGM. DTMaster.
DTMaster claimed Hider, and is thus a VERY POWERFUL TEMPLE. Cop and Hider? So there's probably one scum hiding in there.
I was originally posting this for DGB to relay to hitovig, but this works too.
We should lynch one of Benmage/AGM.
Unvote, Vote: AlmasterGM
If this isn't clear that's cool. I'll clarify."This is the true face of a man who plays paladin."-

This might be relevant.zoraster wrote:For what it's worth, I randomized the positions as follows:
1-5 are God A's followers, 6-10 God B's, 11-15 God C's.
then I fed numbers 1-15 into a random list generator and the first X numbers (where X is the number of scum in this game) were scum. For example, if there are seven scum in this game and my randomizer listed 3,5,7,9,13,14,15 as numbers, then there would be 2 scum under Gods A and B and three under God C.-

Yep. Just checking the same is true of PRs - AFAIK the mod hasn't made that explicit.
Actually, that's enough to say that we can't infer anything about scum from temples, even if we know all about PRs. So yeah, that logic from Andrius makes no sense - for scumhunting purposes, the temples are arbitrary groupings. We may as well say there is likely to be ONE scum with a prime numbered player number; probably true, but not at all useful.-

Numbers mine.
I actually trust zoraster here. He's indicated somewhere -- may have been the sign-ups thread or the advert in Theme Test Market, but definitely on his wiki -- that he videotaped himself doing the randomization.Andrius wrote:I saw that, Equinox.
I walked right by it and chuckled.
(1) It wouldn't be the first time a mod said something to prevent breakage.
(2) But still; the likely hood of ONE scum being in Judgement is THIS HIGH. *stretches arms out really tall*
I tried to do the temple-by-temple reading, too. Honestly, after doing some of this individual reading, I think I blew too much time trying to look at probability of X scum in this temple and X scum in that temple. But that's just me.-

As for how and what I randomized... I'll try to clarify as much as I can. This is the order in which I did things for this:
1. Picked three god powers that I thought could work as either scum or town powers.
2. Randomized which of those god powers were evil and which were town.
3. Picked a certain number of scum I thought would work with the setup. Randomized where those scum were located (i.e. which followers were evil and which were town)
4. Created what I hoped was a balanced set-up based on the above information. Placement of power roles, etc. was not done randomly.
5. Picked who was going to be a god via a semi-random process that I won't go into for now.
6. Video taped myself assigning players to roles.
I hope that helps. Beyond this, I'm not sure I can provide more information without this being about me. And of course it isn't about me. It's about you lovely people.
Just a reminder: The deadline is currently on Monday..-
