In order to successfully prosecute criminals, one must have evidence.
Voidedmafia was underneath the floor of the stage, examining the five bodies. Unlike the others, he did not believe that all of the killer's tracks had been covered. After all, the so-called "perfect crime" was but a myth. As long as there was evidence that still needed to be investigated, Voidedmafia was going to search through it all until he revealed the truth, even if it meant he would be spending the entire night cooped up under the floor breathing the smell of mold and blood.
With that in mind, he thoroughly searched snowjorden, hoping to find some sort of identification that would tie snowjorden to his partner. Pocket after pocket after pocket revealed nothing of import. Instead, all Voidedmafia found were snowjorden's car keys, some cigarettes, and driving directions to the building where they were now. Voidedmafia thought it was interesting that he couldn't find snowjorden's wallet anywhere; snowjorden's partner must have gotten to it during the chaos of the lynch on the first day, just like the gun.
"Tch. That was sloppy."
Voidedmafia returned snowjorden to his place in the corner and paused for a moment. He recalled the evening of the dinner when one of the hosts had been shot while the other was strangled. snowjorden dropped his gun when the lynch mob killed him a couple of days ago, which meant that the other death was most likely due to his partner. It seemed a bit odd that the two of them carried only a single gun between them, but so far, there was no evidence to suggest otherwise. For all Voidedmafia knew, Lady Lambdadelta could have been killed with snowjorden's gun. Still, it was all so strange...
Up above, someone else was wandering the ballroom. It didn't take too long to notice the loose floorboard on the stage or the soft light of a flashlight. A quick body count revealed only four sleeping guests, each at a different table and facing each other. Another night of clean-up duty, then.
Deep in thought, Voidedmafia did not hear the noise outside. He was close to the answer. He knew he was close to the answer; everything was there, laid out before him...
Suddenly, the answer came to him. Quite literally.
