SSK was a classic lurker. He did it because he couldn't get around sounding scummy when he posted.
He ultimately left the site because the negativity of his reputation reached critical mass, plus RL kicked in.

That's actually far from the worst role I've ever seen.

You could get a double lynch if the Vote Mimic was the only person voting X and then the Vote Mimic got lynched, but otherwise the town would spend most of the game voting player A (the Vote Mimic) and then suddenly having player B get lynched. It would probably take several lynches to work out what the hell was going on.
It's not the worst possible role, but it's a role i could conceivably see used in a game, and if it cropped up outside of a bastard game i could see it causing a lot of confusion.

Every day you will be able to invest your money into a player publicly. (e.g.

Invest [random amount] into X) If they survive til the end of the game, you win with them. At night, you may choose to put out a contract on your target and have them killed. If you are blocked/investigated, you may divert your funds from your investment to bribe the person targeting you and cancel their actions(this will negate your investment in that player as well/obviously). However if you do not you will appear as scum when investigated.

No, I got that part. But if they investigate Scum, scum will be inclined towards killing them. So they WANT to hunt town, which makes them more like a Cop+RB, except much less protown due to the Win Condition.
