I've never been lynched, or even near to it in my 2 completed games, but my gut reaction is that this is something I might have said if I was resigned to being "lunched".. It reads newb town to me because of that.charter wrote:Neuky wrote:I don't like the Quilford wagon as I thought the flip comment was quite townie, and his defensive comments don't seem too off to me either.
What do you think he would say if he is scum?
Quilford's emotive posting recently is interesting. He does seem rattled. In the past, I've seen it as a flailing scum tell, but not so sure now - I think it's definitely a new player tell, but not sure if you could call it alignment specific.
He said that after you voted for him. What was the reason for your vote?Empking wrote:Quilford wrote:...
When I flip town, lunch Empking, please.
Charter: Enough to lynch (mainly for the quoted post).Played 2 - won as town 0 - lost as town 2 - won as scum 0 - lost as scum 0 - Yep, I'm doing that well...-

This is scum making preparatory excuses for their hammer.
UNVOTE: Scott Brosius
VOTE: hiplop
This seems like scum trying to get a wagon off him, especially with having such a respected player's vote already on his side.
I'm sorry, whether someone's respected or notdoes not make an ounce of a differencein this game.
UNVOTE: hiplop
VOTE: Sloth
This is horrible and looks liker an excuse to get off the Hiplop wagon.Plus, if you guys want to make a point, skip the walls, because everyone else in the game does as well. - Magister Ludi-

You evidently did (becay=use you got off the hiplop wagon). Personally I'd say that you felt from Sloth you would have feeerange to move your vote off him (to put on your favourite wagon) in a way that wasn't so concrete with Hiplop. Or maybe Hiplop is your buddy and you felt bored of bussing him? I don't know.
empking, you're going to flip maf so hard it will make chuck norris cry
Yet still no vote.Plus, if you guys want to make a point, skip the walls, because everyone else in the game does as well. - Magister Ludi-

Twistedspoon very well could be scum here.
The vanilla claim is something more likely to come from town in this case, and the manner it's came about is a fairly strong town tell, was expecting quilford scum to rage and claim 'OMG YOU OUTED THE ____' (choose your own adventure and fill in the blank)
unvoteare you thinking of me when you're with somebody else?-

what, for giving my opinion that I think Quilford is town?
It's hardly just me anyways. My opinion is shared by others

Quilford wrote:charter wrote:You were at L-1 so we can try and figure out your alignment.
And would you say my alignment has been deduced?
I'm not sure, I can see reasons for you being scum and town. I do want to look over Empking, because his reasons he's been giving recently seem suspect at first glance.-

charter wrote:As you've been saying, people haven't been giving good reasons that you're scum but voting you nonetheless. That's virtually no pressure, those votes won't hold up all the way through a lynch. When they all give compelling reasons for voting, that's when you're in hot water. I would be willing to bet that all but two or so of the people voting you would unvote at the first sign of scumhunting, but that never came. Now that you've claimed vanilla, there's no reason to lynch someone besides you.
pedit, how many games have you played on MS, Quilford?
GonnaUnvoteSince I in no way want the day to end right now.
The bolded statement is the reason for this: VOTE: Charter
Especially with the way you're now slightly backing down once people started calling him town.-
