This was literally torturing the town.
I feel a little sorry for dragging the game longer that necessary, but I and buttons hadn't arranged anything and I was waiting for TBM to make the first move (since I was the RB). I just didn't want to take any risk.
Actually I hoped TBM would vote mute immediately after I voted him (he definitely could have).
good game all anyway. I enjoyed it quite a lot.
PS: Llama was right, without the tracker this setup would have been extremely weird and/or unbalanced.-

Meh not really. The "VLA until after deadline" was so bad.
Speaking of VLAs, Buttons, I autovote you on #2, #3 if I'm feeling nice next game with you.
That vote doesn't leave until a moderator confirms you town.
P.P.S. YEAH. Marble was more or less confirmed town because of setup spec since you KNEW there was a RBShowThat which is done out of love always takes place beyond good and evil

We had no day chat and hadn't expected a cross-vote like that so nothing was planned, I didn't go for the quick hammer due to the risks involved as I felt we would win the long game for sure.Routine day with a dirt cheap brush

Hey now.
Early game I got some people riled up so that they were bickering rather then being able to work as a team.
Mid game one of the scum team decided to play awfully and I was strongly active but in a manner that didn't advance the game.
Approching Lylo town was divided and I just lukred my way into end game.
I didn't just V/LA everything, there was an overarching plan!Routine day with a dirt cheap brush

Certain people make it onto a list where if they're not posting
They won't be advancing their win conditions

DRK wrote:Even worse: all TBM has to say in his post is "lol, setup isn't balanced with a trackurrrr" and Llama is dead because we have a town full of players that don't understand balance! (minus xtox, who hasn't said much of anything)
I wanted Xtox dead not Llama.
DRK wrote:Of course, scum decided not to have the roleblocker kill night 1, but that was a mistake.
We didn't think the RB could kill and block, that was news for us too.

And that's why Hikari got shot.

Lol. That gambit failed hard.
GreyICE wrote:Llamarble hit Krazy straight out the gate day 1 and didn't let up until the day ended. Plus Tracker is a PANTS fakeclaim early in the popcorn, as it's 100% confirmable.
Yeah it is, when there are only masons and scum left...

Teehee.
I am sorrry for not pursuing Nath. Marble was pinging my scumdar so hard and I can't just ignore it. Setup speculation diminished it a bit, but not enough. Oh well, live and learn.
Well done TBM, you are the MVP in the game. You did it very good.
I am fine with the mason QT being revealed. Hiraki may post it if he approves as well.If somebody has tools to fix my scumdar, pm me.-

Dead QT was excellent, hehe.
I do like being a VT.
Weighing "Buttons is half as likely as anyone else to be scum" due to role information against "Buttons is scummy" was a messy issue.
I felt like I absolutely should not lynch him unless somebody else flipped RB or more role information came up.
I suppose I'll do it that way again in the future and most of the time it should be the right move.-

Anyone with the patience to read through the dead QT probably already knows my thoughts on the game, but I may as well say them here anyway:
Well-played by the scum team. Not necessarily the most impressive play I've seen from a scum team, but you did what you needed to and got into a position in which you could take advantage of town's less-than-ideal play. No use arguing with results.
Town play this game was....interesting. I'm going to gloss over that almost entirely and just comment on two things.
1) Do not speculate on the setup unless you understand setup design and balance. Those of us in the dead QT really wanted to stab some of you when you started saying Llama's role didn't fit in...
2) I kind of felt bad for Llamarble. He really did play that lylo almost perfectly, but there was nothing he could do once Mute voted him.
The setup itself was nice. Masons seem to be getting a lot more popular because of the recent wave of hatred for cops. I think there's an interesting argument to be made from it though that actions in normal games should either be standardized or stated beforehand by the mod. When GreyICE made his claim of being either PGO or doctor, he would never have guessed that a roleblocker could block a PGO, since passive actions usually can't be blocked. From what the mod said, that didn't actually play into the scum's decision to block him, but, well, it really should have and it could have been a big deal. Also of note, if I'd had the tracker role, I wouldn't have thought to ask the mod whether or not the roleblocker was allowed to kill and block because it's so rare outside of newbie games. The scum team didn't even realize it until night 2 and that got one of their goons tracked to a kill (he was likely going down anyway, but it didn't help...). It's not that there was anything inherently wrong with the action resolution Exe was using...it's just unexpected in a normal game. Anyone here have thoughts on that? (I'll probably turn it into an MD thread later.)-
