Here's a question for you Izak.

If a country is taken over by another, and is eliminated from the game, what happens to their technologies? Are they aquired by the conquering nation?
Also, if you can rejoin the game after 7 days, could you then in theory reclaim the technology that your previous nation had researched?

It depends. If your country was completely wrecked, burned to the ground, etc., then the technology would go to waste. If they were more careful, then they could well take control of your technology.

As for getting it back, you would probably have to fight them for it - not a good idea when you're a new nation. They shouldn't just give it to you because it used to be yours, since you're a completely new country when you respawn.
