A player that you bastards helped vote off is returning for revenge! Yay!
All the eliminated players that wanted to, plus Blaineley (JDGA, surprise!) competed in a brainteaser competition. The one who got the most points would return to the game. The questions are below with the answers spoilered (in case you wanna do them yourself).
I would also point out that all of these are "lateral thinking" puzzles designed to trick you. Some of the answers are straightforward, others are smartass answers. Give it your best shot!
1. Lindsay was vacationing abroad alone on her yacht when she fell overboard. She was a non-swimmer and had nothing to keep her afloat, yet she was rescued a half an hour later. How did she not drown? (2 points)
2. A Pittsburgh company ordered some goods from a European company. The American firm was very precise in stating the dates on which it wanted the deliveries to occur. However, the European company, which generally had a high reputation for accuracy, missed every delivery date by at least one month. Some were very early, and others were very late. Why? (2 points)
3. A particular person born in January 1978 has a unique distinction. What is it? (4 points)
4. In the early days of exploration in America, a group of explorers came to a deep, wide river. There was no bridge, and they had no boats or material to make boats. They could not swim. How did they get across? (3 points)
5. DJ gets a new job in Paris as a quatorzieme. He sits in his place of work in the evening. Sometimes he is called to work, but most evenings he is not. What does he do? (3 points)

When she was due to return, she faxed her manager the following request: “Is it OK for me to transport back to New York, at the company’s expense, my personal items, household effect, and junk?” She was given approval and did so.
A furious argument ensued. The company refused to pay the transportation charge and, in the end, Izzy had to sue the company. She won, but that is not the issue. The question is: What was the cause of the argument? (2 points)
8. At a party Gwen and Courtney became engaged in a violent quarrel. Gwen pulled a gun and, in plain view of many witnesses, shot Courtney dead. The police were called. They questioned Gwen and the witnesses. They decided that it was a case of murder, yet they pressed no charge against Gwen. Why not? (4 points)
