@Tanarin: My only intention in posting about how the recruitment might work was trying to sort out a problem I was having. (Mainly that of how in the hell the town was going to be able to win).

The difference between my posts and yours Porochaz is this.

I just replaced in. I was reading the thread still, and trying to ascertain some things.

YOU on the other hand have NO excuse for YOUR posting.

So, in order your points are:

1) My vote on DGB had no reasoning
2) I was asking stupid questions, and trying to act like derp town
3) I fly off the handle

Let me refute these.

1) The DGB vote was me catching up and reading some of DGB's posts. As I read, I posted what I was thinking. It's more of a placeholder than anything else.

2) My questions were legitimate for a person JUST NOW ENTERING THE GAME. >.<

3) Uh yeah. I tend to do that when people attack me with craptastic logic.

Bvgoit, did you not read the past few pages where I outlined how badly Poro wanted Yos lynched, and how little (read: none) reasoning he gave for it?

He has a "scum" read on Yos.

Yos, did you remember saying this about quitting?

"It's unbelievably frustrating. I don't know if I'm getting worse or if everyone else is, but it's to the point where I'm thinking about just quitting mafia for a while after my current games are over. "

Really, I'm not repeating the same 'bs' over and over again. I brought up quite a valid point, in my opinion, about the progression of events where you asked the CR a question they had already answered (and I asked) and I said I had already asked, you denied it, said yours was different, and when I accused you of not reading the game (which It seemed like you hadn't) you get insulted. What am I missing here, really?

And as for 'scumhunting', I think i've done quite well in that regard.

But he also said "No" to a Yos lynch.

Lady- It's not scummy. It's annoying.

Fine: Lady

There, now any time you double post (minus obviously site mishap doublepost) you will overdraw your account and be fined. You will require one less vote to lynch for that day each time, up until only needing 1. This post restriction is effective until you die (but all fines will be removed the following business day).

Also, why do you have to find a way to believe that town has a chance to win? It should always be assumed in any nonbastard game that their is always a chance for town to win. You should have been more focused instead on finding scum, as that will obviously help town win.

When I get time tomorrow, I'll do an activity check on everyone.

Meh the V/LA is easy to explain, when you have your finals like half of this site does, then you take time off. Just like when you move house or when your internet gets cut off. Its nice to tell people this though so they dont think you have flaked.

Yos and DGB.
They really dont need links, they have been in enough games that practically everyone knows there posting styles and if you dont LOOK IT UP!!! They both have plenty of games!

808, In the game already. You dont read much do you?

I have the excuse of leaving uni actually, and whilst leaning on things like this isnt good, I did announce it in the signups that it was going to be a busy time. So yes I am playing eternal catchup or at least I was.

The self meta was not an excuse just a way of infuriating you more. I dont believe in self meta. It can then be changed. You will notice I never say "thats how I play as...". Cause its how I play right from Game 1.

Let me refute your points now. Point 1, Im talking about all votes not just dgb, also placing a vote with no concept of what happens down the line or even how the game works, good call. Not. Point 2, if you read the game first you wouldn't have to do that. Alternatively and maybe slightly more fairly, you could have had a small look at the signup thread or the first mod posts of the game, you know like your meant to and point 3, there was no craptastic logic, just a boy who (still) just wants to go to bed and has a keyboard he has to replace tomorrow, oh by the way, I may have v/la when the insurance company comes.

My read on yos is that of scum. He has failed to show me his usual town meta and has instead worked off emotion more when I see him more as a logical player. From what I remember offhand his logic hasn't always been good either, which is an extreme discrepancy see "I agree with yos2"

Oh and as you asked LL, copy and paste. It still takes its time though.

Post edit: Where did I say no to a lynch on yos?
Mostly retired. Unless you ask or it's something interesting.

Important Point: Lurking here day one will go a long way into surviving into day two for any possible recruits.

The ones i'm most worried about are those players that have low post counts in this game, more posts in other games, high skill overall, and distance between posts.

Chronopie fits this bill perfectly. (Thadmiral and others to a lesser extent)

Strong suspicion should be leveled here. (not to mention his play has been lesser than stellar, and quite self-depricating.)

I think at this point he makes more sense as a recruit then the gambiting Batt (to a degree)

yes = yos
yes = spring
dont see it = hero
no = tanarin

To go into that a bit more, the jester speculation for spring is surprising and unwarranted and I havent seen her all that much and as someone before me said, lurkers in this game need to be called out, as they could easily get by. In my reads I dont remember ever being particularly bothered by heros posts and tanarin is simply to new and too much of a wild card to be a good scum pick. WIFOM maybe, but its the basis Im going on for best chance of cult survival.

I see straws, I must try and grab them...

You missed/ignored the point he was making though.

You are a tease though, I thought we were going to continue on poking each other and generally have a bit of a debate/argument with one another, you prepared me for it, hell I stayed up for it and then nothing :( Is this what being stood up is like? You didn't have to come to the meal and the evening entertainment and then leave me high and dry in between the bedsheets, thats just cruel.
