One obvious possibility for someone to ask that question would be if you are scum, trying to figure out who to kill. It's also possible that you really believed what you said, and really thought that one of the neighbors was going to claim a power role and that would somehow prove that one of the other neighbors must be scum, but that never really made a lot of sense to me. I could think of other possible motivations, but rather then speculate, you could just tell us.

Actually, another motivation just occurred to me. If you're claiming you have some kind of role info, Mer, I'm fine with having the neighbors fullclaim first before you get into any specifics.

I'm going to reread the game before voting. Also going to look into nightkills. For now, I'm assuming "instantaneous poison" kill is SK, and the "shot" kill on MagnaofIllusion was from Mafia.

Magna was not a bad target for the mafia, but.....I looked at your ISO, and you NEVER mentioned SensFan. Ever. I'm still confused.

1. I think inferring that SENSFAN was the mafia kill is crazyworld. <_<

2. I think I've openly said several times that I don't have very strong scumreads this game. I wasn't kidding. And two of my stronger townreads (PBuG, MoI) just died.

3. I killed SF for two basic reasons:

a) Lurking
b) Lots of players expressed suspicion, but it was difficult to get a wagon going on him.

I think those are two of the best reasons to vig someone in the absence of more obvious motivators, so I thought he was a good shot. I actually sent it to Amrun within like an hour of D1 ending IIRC.

I would have dismissed the "Sensfan as non-town kill" had you not be the one killing him. Really, I usually don't trust it when claiming vigs use "lots of players expressed suspicion", without suspicion of their own.

Well, if I'd had actual suspicions of my own to DRAW from, things may've been different.

The only other player I considered shooting was DH, but I didn't think he was as good a vig shot for the inverse of the above two reasons + I think I remember his last few posts being better.

I didn't target anyone N1 because I asked the mod about what would happen if I targeted the SK, and the mod said they'd become a VT--and I wanted the SK to act like a true vig, for at least one night. Since we apparently have a vig AND an SK, now I can safely cure the SK.
