Hmm? I don't think he's a bad man. I mean, he's loyal to his family, and he's part of the evil family, but he never really does anything I think is morally reprehensible.

He's a morally neutral man, maybe.

welcome to Westeros, where everyone is morally neutral.

Tyrion is closer to a man without morals. Not to say that he is amoral, just that he doesn't feel a particular call to do good. He sometimes does good by people that he feels he has a duty to or people that he sympathises with, but I think that is closer to whimsy than good intentions. I wouldn't say he's morally neutral, just capricious.

Out of all the kings, queens, and hands of the king that have tried to rule from King's Landing thus far during the series, I'd argue that he's probably the best ruler.

I'm not questioning the writing; I'm questioning the delivery.
SC wrote:He also just killed her wolf, so it's cool that she's upset at him.
This would actually explain the actresses's choices well. It didn't occur to me because it isn't brought up and it was actually months ago in flavor, though.

I don't think its MONTHS. Maybe a month tops. They are en route to King's Landing when they kill Lady.
EDIT: also, in the book, Sansa is explicitly cool to Ned because she is mad about her wolf.

Yes, there are definitely spoilers there. In fact, I stopped reading because there's some spoilers for Dragons itself and I don't want it even slightly ruined for me.
adwd review has got me hyped. probs shouldn't click if you've not read up to book 4 obviously.
Any spoilers there?
Nothing in any way major at all. Some, but like, nothing major, I'm pretty much as anti spoiler as possible. If you're being really cautious don't read it, but it doesn't reveal anything plot wise. It didn't reveal anything to me I didn't already expect/know but be safe and avoid it I guess.
To summarise: the book is fucking good and the scope is massive. Buy it >_>
Here's the blurb for those unaware, I think. not really spoilery but tidbits:
Spoiler:
From the Wall to Slaver’s Bay, the world is blighted by war and chaos. In Westeros, the War of the Five Kings continues to rumble on, as Stannis Baratheon regroups his forces at Castle Black and prepares to march against the Boltons, with the northern houses divided between the two sides. In King’s Landing, intrigue seethes as two queens prepare to stand trial. In Dorne, long-gestating plans finally start to see fruition. In the Free Cities, an army of exiles and sellswords from Westeros gathers, breaking their contracts in the hope of finally seeing home and hope again. In Slaver’s Bay, a young girl must try to unite warring factions howling for her blood, unaware that her every command sends reverberations through the balance of trade and power in the world, and even dragons may not be enough to protect her…
are you thinking of me when you're with somebody else?
So pumped for ADwD. I was trying to get through the series again before it comes out, but that's not happening. I'll probably finish AGoT again, and maybe ACoK
