Couple that with the fact that a cure takes time to work, and you actually get worse before you get better, and you realise that a cure is simply not the best way to go about things. Instead, a vaccine is a much better alternative.

Izak, what age group is most affected by the flu? Is it a typical influenza i.e. the young and the old, or is it more 1918 Spanish Flu, i.e. the healthy adults?

@Robotnick2 the weakest have the highest mortality rate. Almost nobody under 13, over 60, or in poor health who has been affected has survived it. It affects healthy adults just as much, But shows a lower mortality rate in those cases.
