I'm actually truly shocked I made it to the Final 2.

When this game began (after the last catastrophe of a game that I was in), I decided I wouldn't try to be crafty. I'd just sit back, do my best in the challenges, and be up front and honest with people. And I feel as though I've done that. I didn't backstab anyone to get here. The first alliance that came my way came from chesskid3 and gandalf5166 -- and I held true to that alliance, didn't I? I never lied to anyone else or anything like that. When someone asked me if I wanted to vote out gandalf, I straight up told them "no".

As for the six of you... well, if I'm being honest, the game was so long ago I'm having trouble remembering why things happened, but I'll do my best.

I wasn't on that tribe with you. I can't speak to why you were eliminated, however, I know you're a strong competitor and people might've seen you as a threat. You were also put up against chesskid, which means in the long run, I'm glad you went first. Alliance members first, right?

I can't believe you got voted out like that, man. It was you/gandalf/JDGA, so it should've been an obvious plan: you and gandalf get together and vote off JDGA. I have no clue why gandalf decided to vote for you, or what his thought process was, but if it had been me, I would've kept you along until final three.

It wasn't exactly strategy to get rid of you, I'm afraid. The only reason you got voted off is because we had a month-long hiatus, and I had no clue who was aligned with who... gandalf sent out a mass PM trying to get a finger on the pulse, and you responded by suggesting we vote out gandalf instead. At that point, you were sticking out by going against us, and you had to go. Let it be known you were a strong competitor, though, if you somehow managed to convince gandalf to vote chesskid over you after the Crossword Puzzle challenge.

I had you, TBO, and Tragedy on my tribe. TBO wasn't going to go, because he wasn't enough of a threat. It was down to you or Tragedy to get voted off first, and honestly, it was essentially a coin toss. Plus, you seemed like you wanted to get the hell out of the game anyway, so no hard feelings?

You were kicked because you were inactive. Plain and simple. We wanted a final three worthy of being a final three rather than two people and a complete ghost who would just be a filler chair in the final challenge/tribal council and take the fun/reward out of actually trying to win.

Sorry, Tragedy. I took you along to F3 as long as I could, but in the end, I had to stick to my word I gave gandalf, otherwise I would feel a little slimy backstabbing my way to my first final two ever.

Well, I'm going to be honest: I've been a crafty, and in some cases, straight up backstabbing, conniving, son of a bitch this game. That said, I am just as surprised as Reck that I got this far, although I think a little more justifiably. I was worried about getting voted out early, and so I made WAY too many alliances, and so eventually I had to pick and choose which ones to stick through to the end on. In fact, IIRC, I have been allied with every single member of the jury, and I contributed to voting several of you out. Honestly, I didn't think I would make it far enough to have to make those kind of decisions. I just wanted to survive long enough to make an impact. I still don't really expect to win, especially considering that I've backstabbed literally every one of you. So I'm just going to be perfectly honest.

Ani: I don't have much to say to you, because we weren't very strongly linked and you got voted off before the hiatus so I don't remember you in the game all that clearly. I do remember the Wildebeest game, and I feel a little like I cheated, because I literally won by accident. I didn't even realize I had a near-winning hand, although granted, that was partially Chevre's fault. So, a tip of the hat to you. If my luck had gone a little different it might be you up here with Reck.

Chess: This was one of those things where I had to choose between alliances. I don't know why I chose JDGA, especially considering you were the last person left from the only alliance I had that had actually said the words "Final Four". IIRC, this whole segment happened while I was in Colorado being the most depressed I've been in my entire life, so I'm just gonna chalk it up to erratic behavior. Sorry.

JDGA: IIRC, I voted you out because Reck told me I should. He didn't explain why, but I trusted him and whadda you know. Sorry, but really, you shouldn't go for the guy who's allied with everyone in the game unless you're sure you've got support.

LLD: I don't remember a lot about you. Sounds bad but it's the truth.

TBO: While you were inactive, and yeah, we got rid of you because we thought you were really just bad for the competition..... Thanks for covering for me on the Wildebeest challenge. That was on the aforementioned Colorado trip, and I really just wasn't up to it. Sorry you had trouble keeping up with the pace.

Tragedy: The choice between you and Reck was harder than I tried to pass it off as. But eventually I stopped thinking about what would be the best matchup for me and who I felt was the stronger player and debating between who would garner more jury votes and realized Reck has been a great ally throughout this game, and I would feel like a douche giving him the boot at this point. You understand.

So yeah. That's how it is.

I forgot to add: This has been an incredible game, and I have to say thanks to Chevre for hosting it, and for managing to keep it going despite the fact that sometimes real life is just a bitch. It's been entirely too much fun.
