No, you'll have to ask Twistedspoon, he's the one in charge of it all I just get to sit back and enjoy. Isn't this a thread you welcome newbies in? because I see you coming here to get your lacy panties in a twist over me but I don't see any welcoming

I am sorry if you have to prod me, I have absolutely no concept of time.

Hi everybody! I've done a few games offsite. I've actually been lurking here a while; at first I was intimidated by the sheer number and skill of people and didn't sign up, but I've spectated a kajillion games and was like WANT.
also, was recently in an offsite (dual-forum) Massive, and wanted to wait until I was murderized before I joined up here. Too much clutter in my life, ya know? But, now I'm here!

You made a redundant ego-driven newbie introduction thread four days after this one was created. It's not active so you're doing the same thing here.
Lol, what? No I didn't. Get your facts right. I'd tell you what actually happened, but you're too into attempting to cause drama where there is none. If you're not interested in welcoming new people to the site then I suggest you stay out of a thread designed for that purpose.

Please to be ignoring the drama; you won't have to deal with that for a while.

I'd just like to say, its so refreshing to see a forum not littered with unintelligible posts, profanity, trolls and the likes. I often felt as if I was sort of an outsider in other game forums because there wouldn't be many people making intelligent "interesting" posts. Now I know where they all went
I have a few questions:
There seems to be a correlation between posting activity and "scummyness," where people who lurk are lynched. How often do most people post? How often is the minimum? How much time will I need to invest in a game?
Games generally last anywhere from 3-4 weeks to 3-4 months. Obviously individual players won't always live that long...
Part of that is because our playspeed is reduced heavily compared to most forums. If you can post once or twice a day, you will be able to keep up just fine in 98% of games. Every 72 hours is the bare minimum, but more often is better because you keep up easier.
Well Meta, it depends upon the game, but I find twice to three times a day at least keeps you up to date. That doesn't mean hugeass walls of text, but just general discussion.
Also welcome!
PEDIT: Boo you Flay, I wanted to help!

Well let's just say if my Dad would've reproduced me earlier I would've been at about 65 years old. But really I'm about 49. The 65 is my supposed age... Since my old folks married at about 1948, they didn't start doing it until about 1960, then 2 years later they got me. But 65 could've been my age...
