there was another pair of town masons except without daytalk
a setup with 4 confirmable townies is completely implausible
yet NO ONE picked up on that.
also, calc and me died N1. vi was scummy as hell d1.

Faraday, you're ignoring how many idiots there were in that game. The people who weren't idiots and weren't me were too timid to do anything except let the easy mislynches fly. With all respect for Fate's gambit paying off, don't give the Town credit for being a worthwhile opponent.

Yeah, the Town was shit in Fire Emblem. Looking back on it, I still can't understand how I created so much WIFOM for myself over whether Fate's claim was real or not.

To my credit though I didn't take part on the game-losing mislynch. And if I had investigated Fate instead of Riceballtail (who was effectively a Godfather), the game would almost certainly have been won for town.

I think Vi really hates me for that game ._________.

Well, yes. Sometimes Town wins, and sometimes Scum loses, and sometimes Scum wins, and sometimes Town loses. Just like any game, you can either screw it up and throw away victory, or you can seize victory from the jaws of defeat.

I completely disagree with this but I literally just had this entire argument on my radio show last week with Faraday & CDB and I don't feel like dredging it up again in the Scummies thread

I did say "with all respect for Fate's gambit". Not only did he manage to ride to endgame as early D1 claimed Masons, but he did the usual FATESLAM to make endgame come pretty quickly time-wise.

I'm also saying that suggesting the Town was good or that it was a close game is criminally exaggerating. It was more of a steamLOL.

I was proud of coming up with that mason claim with only ONE of the "masons" as a fakeclaim.

I also bussed my third buddy D1 and had no knowledge of any town roles at that point, so you can't deny that it was BALLSY AS FUCK.

No one said "master manipulation" or "fufufufufuu I decieveds them all MASTERMINDS" but it was a good role claim at the least, no?

Triple D's Magician Mafia for best set up.

A very fun an interesting game with some pretty awesome roles that all seemed to play out just how Triple D had planned. A great game all round.

Nominate Hoopla for most enjoyable poster

I actually take the time to read every single on of her posts in depth in every game I play with her. I have read several other of her games just to see her in action. They are legitimately insightful. I actually enjoy reading her longer posts, unlike most other people's.
