Uh, if there's one role my claim makes it extremely unlikely for me to be, it's that one.
Neither tracking nor roleblocking are common SK abilities, and if I was lying about VP I'd be guaranteeing myself a loss.
I had a semiconscious brainstormy-dreamy-thing about a Sotty / Vi / VP / Xvart scumteam.

I still want to see Llamarble lynched, but I recognize (if you'll forgive my use of technical scumhunting language) it's mostly because the fact that he's bullshitting his way through this game is pissing me off. But after looking at his claim, it is unlikely to come from scum PROVIDED xRx was the Mafia kill.

Quilford, if you'll excuse the rolefishing, is your pet a sheep? Your claim is the only thing saving you at this point.

On the bright side, CES has moved right next door to Immortal Tier.

I'll be honest, I'm not feeling the Ghostlin wagon this morning.

Looking though Reck's ISO, a VP target from him isn't out of the question.

I don't really like a Triple D vote. I had a gut town read on him earlier, well up until he called Jason a bandwagoner.

Xvart/VP/Glow people that I would lynch today.

Untrod has been replaced by saulres
Saulres has chosen to take Untrod's role rather than submit his own pet (note: he didn't know any information about the role before deciding).

(This was written while I was somewhat following the game in the hopes I could replace in. I need to do a full read-through but wanted to come in swinging :) )

Hi everybody! I've been following this game somewhat (seeing as how it's practically a sequel to Magician's Mafia, given the playerlist. And boy was that a flashback when Sotty and VPB were going at each other on D1) and I was hoping for a chance to replace in. And it'll be nice to play with Jason who ran the first game I ever played on this site.

One comment before I get into things: I've found a new drinking game! You just need to take a drink anytime Amrun says "reading comprehension" or some variation thereof. I've already had two drinks this game :)

Now down to business. I need to reread, because like I said, I've only been partially following. But I did make a list of reads as I was following, and did a few ISOs, and here's where I lean right now:

Town

Quilford
Kublai Khan

Null -- basically all those I haven't ISOed and don't have a gut feel on

Vi
Sotty7
Ghostlin
VP Baltar -- although Llamarble's WIFOM claim means VP may be scum - waiting on VB to comment
Untrod Tripod
glowball

Scummy

Jason
Amrun
xvart
Llamarble: Struck me as town or extremely daring scum. Fitting avatar. <- notes made before his claim. Moved to scummy based on 850 (see below)

One of two

Cogito Ergo Sum: Null or bad scum
DDD: maybe scum, maybe 3rd party. Either way, lynch.

Questions about things which bug me:

@Ghostlin: In 478 and 479 you refer to D1 as "last night". Explain to me how that is
not
a scumslip.

@Llamarble: In 139 you say you did someting "to look town". That strikes me as odd. Town looks town by their play, scum are the only ones who have to do something to try to look town.

Then, in 850, you said "we" (see below) don't know if the 3rd party is a killing role, but in the same post you said "there weren't as many kills as expected". So you expected more? I guess the "we" refers to your scumbuddies then?

Jason's defense of Llama and calling Kublai's 859 rubbish in 862 is just more proof of his scumminess.

Nope, it was a lot shorter, a lot less heated, and in this one, you came out on top.

Another question for Ghostlin:
In post 134, Ghostlin wrote:if the DV can help us with the game because scum might have to be more careful with their votes

Please explain this logic. In what way do scum have to be more careful with their votes due to the presence of a (presumed townie) doublevoter? Town needs to be more careful, but scum?

I'll deepdive later this evening I think. Keeping Lew out of hammer range for the time being sounds like a good plan.

Was there a point to this post? Reck used the word non-committal to describe Amrun, but I think this trumps that.

In post 139, Llamarble wrote:The point was to look town.
More specifically to be transparent about my reactions to THE UNIVERSE.

It's important to be read correctly as town, and it makes it easier for people to read you if you expose raw / not fully processed thoughts to them.
So even though I wasn't fully engaged / ready to push on things yet I tried to keep people abreast of what was going on in my brain.

If there is an SK then VP should be lynched because he is rolewise substantially more likely than anyone else to be scum.
We are essentially guaranteed a third party by Qford's census, so an SK is reasonably likely, so VP's overall probability of being scum is somewhat higher than everybody else's.

Bluntly, scum are pretty much blatantly looking to look town by bussing and getting off when a wagon falters. A DV can often lead scum to hanging people scum didn't want to hang.

Mostly because, while I can't provide you actual meta evidence of it (meaning I don't remember when I might of used night for day in a mafia game before), I'm probably sure I've done it at least once, somewhere on this site, and it did say anything of my alignment.

Are you a part of this game? You claimed Census Taker, gave us numbers (which was handy, but in the unlikelihood of a scum Census Taker, I'd expect the same) and then took off for days (in real time, not game time). Then you post gems like this that don't tell Town what you're thinking or doing.

Scumslip found!

In post 519, Quilford wrote:The results are unsurprising but significant considering there was only one kill last night: 4 mafia, 1 third party, 10 town

To show 15 people, these results must have been supplied before the night kill took place.
BUT:

after
all kills. Meaning, Quil's results should have shown only 14 people.

It was a rhetorical flourish but I'm still baffled to see you take no issue with a bad vote on a quickly developing but mediocre wagon; that's a classic scum spot and you're just looking the other way. The same way you're looking the other way that UT has basically behaved the exact same way you painted his meta in Cowboy Bebop Remix down to replacing out of the game, but no I'm the one drawing the vote.

Oh hey, the Llama wagon dies so Jason finally has to move his vote so it goes on the VI who Vi just called scum; what a tough and courageous vote that was.

No, that was just me being psychic.
I do that sometimes. Buffy Mafia is the best / most frightening example.
Also I explained 850 and that earlier post so what are you on about now?

Hey DDDP, you're a logic-focused player; do you think knowing there's a third party, there was 1 kill, and VPB was roleblocked are grounds for lynching him?
I'mma reread him again today and I may want to go in that direction.
UNVOTE: for now. Today is reengagement day after my DC / NY travels.

I don't like this plan. It requires basically a role reveal from VPB to accomplish. :/ I can't think of any real alternative, though.
