So yeah UT izak and Bone played. UT took an early lead (the first real clue was actually at his house), but he got tripped up at the Spleef Arena, allowing izak to catch up. He would've won if he hadn't had to log off. Despite a valiant effort from Bone, including sacrificing his inventory to try to get back to town before izak, it was to no avail and izak takes home the Gold block and a recreation of the clue box in his house (or wherever else he wants it).

Also I had an idea for an on-server competition that wouldn't need to be run in real-time (it could go over a week or something), but I'll have to talk to Claus about it.

Go to the Tunnel lobby
TASK: Build a tower based on a model after finding the blocks scattered around the tunnels. There was a decoy chest. UT's reaction amused me.

Go to the Desert NPC Villiage
TASK: Replace blocks of wool in a monument with sandstone. Xalxe effed up here by forgetting that you craft sandstone, not smelt it. It was intended to take longer

I'm willing to set up the grass growing arena as my house is finished for now (ugly as fuck but I don't feel like making it pretty right now). I'm open to any ideas. Right now I'm thinking of two setups. One like the one in the link, with the signs and such. Another would have lanes of grass separated by stone. First one to get grass on last block wins. I'm still thinking of a way to do 3-D setups. Donations of dirt, stone, glass, torches, pistons, glowstone, or anything else that could be useful in the future are welcome.
Also, I've been thinking about getting a texture pack as I'm still using default. Any suggestions?
I use Coterie Craft; it's close to default and in fact bills itself as "how default should look."

The grass is off-colored, because I took off the biome-colors so its is standard through every biome. I didn't notice the green was off-colored until AFTER i closed the customizer.
I'm really sorry I missed the race - looks awesome. With impeccable timing, I was having computer problems and couldn't get Minecraft to run without crashing.
plague, i boarded up your tunnel where it intersected mine on the way to our spawner because it was letting mobs into my tunnel
and i traverse that tunnelw ith 50 levels so
if you make sure it's mob proof feel free to reconnect
but if you reopen and more mobs get in i am going to seal with obsidian
