48 hours is much faster than 168 hours (1 week), yet still maintains a sort of failsafe.

The second time, they are prodded and have an extra twenty-four (24) hours, and is skipped at the end of the time. The third time, they are eliminated. This rule takes precedence over Rule 201.

Can you quote rules on this 'no-revision' theory?

A reasonable time must be allowed for this debate. The proponent decides the final form in which the proposal is to be voted on

Yuck. That's a nasty rule. I guess that logically means that ani's vote can't be changed as it was announced for a vote alread, then? So from now on we should present, take suggestions, and then open it to a vote? Am I reading that right?

I think it would be better to give animorpherv1 the chance to pass the resolution he invented, if he so desires.

You could write a V/LA rule, though.

Also, a question for Mhork:

Do you play mafia? Under current site meta, this is practically lurking.

I do play mafia, but a single day off is hardly lurking. Sometimes one needs to clear their head. Sometimes one needs to buckle down and do whatever work they put off. All I know is that I've yet to have a single person call me out for lurking.

Isn't the current site meta everybody posting all the time or something?

I've no clue, Ani. People seem to like my play overall.

Chevre, you could easily do Ani's suggestion. With collaboration on the part of all the players, I'm fairly certain we could get it through.

If you have a better idea, though, feel free to try and implement it.

Each player has twenty-four (24) hours from the start of their turn to propose a new rule. In the event that a player does not propose a rule in that time, they are prodded. In the event that they still have not proposed a rule change after another twenty-four (24) hours, their turn shall be skipped. Upon a single player's turn being skipped for the third time by the action of this rule, they lose and are removed from the player list. This rule takes precedence over Rule 201.

is the last (not-voted-on) version of the rule, if people want to suggest revisions.
