That's kind of what Xalxe's doing, but with teams. I tried a similar thing a couple of weeks ago, but the mod we used was crazy-insane-difficult.

And I've made an arena for some future event.

I didn't realize that is what you were doing. My mistake.

It could work with a reasonably less intrusive design. You really only Admin powers on a server and a server that announces deaths/records actions.

You could just demarcate an area (500 x 500) of land that is reasonably diverse/capable of mobs. Plant a few key resources here and there and then spawn masses of mobs on players, lightning, etc for the people who are playing too nice or diplomatic.

I'd love to join this server, but I forgot my MineCraft password. I used to play at the library so I had to use the Browser version. Sadly, I forgot my password. :\

Hopefully when I get my new computer I'll be able to play again.

Does anyone know the coordinates to the jungle biome? I'm in search of tamable creatures, and a Taiga is nearby for wolves and such but I have no idea where the nearest Jungle is.

There's nether travel to one. Head for the mushroom biome portal, and turn left when you get there.
