Could you explain this?
@ Voidedmafia
Could you give us more? All you have done up untill now is a random vote and ignoring questions. Could you perhaps post more and atleast answer the questions that I have put up? If you choose not to do that, could you explain why not?-

To me the most dangerous mafia are those who tailor their scum game to look like their town game. Town will spend a game honestly hunting for scum. If a mafia member can pull off the proverbial wolf in sheep's clothing, s/he is much harder to spot than someone who, over the course of a game, as attempted to manipulate the town through deceit/wagoning/etc.-

Oh, so basically you think that's the kind of formatting error someone would make if they were switching back and forth from the thread and a QT, and that the only people in the game who would be likely to use a QT would be scum? If QT formatting uses arrow brackets, then that makes sense.
(And I see it's been fixed now,thank you, mod.Just to keep everyone on the same page: those of you who didn't notice at the time, the error Voidedmafia thinks was a scumslip was that in my post #25 I typed <i>pond</i> in order to italicize the word, which didn't result in the formatting I was looking for, because it should have been square brackets [] instead of arrow brackets <>.)
But actually it's just that I spend a lot of time on tumblr, which also uses html-based tags (and therefore arrow brackets), whereas it's been years since I was regularly active in any kind of forum. It may take me some time to readjust to typing out formatting with php square brackets instead of html arrow brackets.-

Tumblr, eh? I don't use that, so I wouldn't know. You're good for now.
Larry: I just let it flow. That works just about as much as it hurts, if you can't guess. Sometimes I play along with RQS and/or RVS, sometimes I don't. Just depends on how I feel.2011 scummies winner (BTS help) and participant;

I don't see it as 0 interest just because TS hasn't posted in a day or so.
Also, RQS at least gets a lot of mouths flapping, but I've seen some people who read too much into them. On the other hand, I have seen people bust mafia day 1 based on their answers. I don't have that skill apparently.
Don't worry, the day is rolling.-

dude it's been 1 day
plus you can't cry over the state of the game before we've even had all of our players. It's hardly my fault when we've still got a few to confirm

In post 50, Voidedmafia wrote:For using html tags, like in the QT's. Not a bad scumslip, imo.
if they were exclusive to qts then perhaps, but they certainly are not
plus whoever uses <i> tags in mafia qts anyways? Especially pre-game?
it's an alright rvs pressure wagon I guess though

RQS sorta destroys momentum if the wrong questions are asked. I'm fine with it for the most part though since this is a friendly newbie game and all. I don't think mafiosi can be identified just from RQS answers at all but I've been wrong before~1 Thessalonians 5:21: Test everything, but hold fast onto what is good

Oi, just because I don't always start out with discussing doesn't mean I have zero interest! Terrible misrep of what I was trying to say. Just terrible. Not to mention, as TS said, the game only just started and not everyone's checked in. Impatient, much?

c'mon VM
impatience is a towntell if anything. We both know that
and the misrepping is more likely townie frustration; scum have no motivation for that, at least not this early on.1 Thessalonians 5:21: Test everything, but hold fast onto what is good

Impatience is not always a towntell. We both know that.
At this point is is more of a null-tell than a scum-tell, but I'm fine with that right now.2011 scummies winner (BTS help) and participant;

Okay, you got me there. But us two debating against each other isn't going to get us anywhere, now is it?

1) Have you played mafia before (on MS, another site, IRC etc.)?
Yeah, I've only played on game before in which I got lynched on the first day :/ I'm currently playing another type called lyncher mafia with 5 people.
Ummm I post everyday in the evening EST.2) How often can we expect to hear from you (At least once per day is a good baseline) and what timezone are you?-

Hey, you were supposed to poke and prod people while I was at work, TS! Quit slacking and having me pick up!
Larry: Why did you immediately jump to that conclusion?
Xeph: Did you accidentally click submit or something?
Asher: Speaking of your observation, do you believe any of us 3 (our IC TS and the two SEs, one of which being myself) could possibly do the "wolf in sheep's clothing" act? I don't want you to say yes just because we're the SEs/IC, though.
Actually, now I'm content with Zyx as a townread. Very clear obliviousness to QuickTopic as a whole that reads as townie.2011 scummies winner (BTS help) and participant;

Welcome to the game!

Q5) How do you guys feel about lurkers or liars?
It matters in the situation but generally it will give them a non-scum feel.
What do you mean by 'non-scum feel'?
Larry David:
I'm a little concerned at how upset you are that Voidedmafia didn't answer your random questions, given that he had already started making non-random votes. Do you consider discussion without voting more pro-town than voting without discussion?
Twistedspoon:
Could you please give us a quick run-down of your reads so far? I'm particularly interested in what you think about Voidedmafia in this game, since I know you two have played together before.
