And before it's suggested that ShadowGirl have Phil modkilled: I would agree, but only if it meant she lost her ability. Day-vig-ing is one thing, but taking away a player's opportunity to win or lose on their own merits just sucks. Especially someone who's put some effort into the game (which you have to admit Phil has, with 72 posts, even if many of them were pure fluff).

Do you mean you want me to use my ability on someone knowingly that I would in turn to lose it? Without even possibly killing him, at that. (I don't remember the exact parameters around his role.)

Actually, that is pretty terrible. It looks like Oversoul is really grasping at straws with that one, and that he's trying so hard to convince people IceGuy is scum that he doesn't stop to think about what's actually being said. I understood that IceGuy was saying scum would want to play that way, not town. But Oversoul missing that seems...improbable to say the least. I actually looked back to make sure Oversoul had actually said that.

I was starting to get convinced by the "wall of text" rage-post, but his behavior since then doesn't show any calmer reasoning. He's still raging. Town wouldn't (shouldn't) behave this way, at least not someone of Oversoul's caliber.

As far as ML/inte is concerned, can someone explain an "optimal" time to get rid of him to avoid end-game disasters?

I thought I had read earlier in Day1 about someone saying something about the vote magnet needing to die before lylo. I'm assuming that most, if not all, of us have something "else" in our roles other than is stated in our PM. I am assuming the idea is that anything that could potentially lock votes in lylo could lose the game for town.

1) Oversoul's still at L-1 because syndrome unvoted
2) inte's vote of Amrun, while maybe legit (can't look into it now but maybe tomorrow, certainly by Monday if the day's not over yet, or while I'm twiddling my thumbs at night if it is) is probably not going to go anywhere before day end
3) Gimmicky Alt's "Hey I've been prodded, better post something" post is so useless, that Gimmicky is probably lurkscum and goes into that pile for me.

It's called having a life. I only had a short amount of time to be on this site at the time, and I left after voting. I was perfectly aware that it wasn't the hammer, and this conjecture is incredibly sad.

No... fundamentally, you try and lynch people who you believe are scum. In turn, you get information out of that. I think the blanket of times where it's appropriate to lynch solely for information are narrower than you may think, and this is not one of them. I agree that no lynches are not good, but by what it seemed in your previous post you found it better off to mislynch than to no lynch/go for another target.
