Ani, is there any way at all we can postpone the final challenge to Monday. Tomorrow is my final rehearsal for Sweeny, and my shows are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Just for clarification, can you elaborate on how scoring works in terms of how the ranks will be determined at the end of these challenges?

This brings back bad memories of Liar Game and my attempt to have the underdogs win over me and two of the better players (Xalxe and someone). The result was that they didn't believe me (though I had absolutely no logical reason to lie) and we all ended up losing. >>

The person who gets first place and 8 points.
The person in second gets 7 points.
Third place gets 6 points

etc. etc. If two people tie, they'll both earn the higher ranking position and the next position will be skipped.

Two people get third place. They both earn 6 points. The next person earns 4 points.

You would think so. And that is the probable outcome. But somehow it usually doesn't turn out that way.

I imagine that whoever gets more points finishes with a higher rank. What confuses me though is that it says whichever

team

gets more points wins, but this is for all the marbles. So does that mean the team with the higher score guarantees the top 3 spots and then the points determine who gets which spot?

Also it worries me that dana hasn't posted...
