I'm fine with it anyway. I'll beat my doppelganger even if he has knowledge I don't! Yes I know it appears he's existed for longer than I have but don't let that fool you, he's the copy!

He doesn't know the riddles. What he read would say things like "The challenge is to solve a riddle in X amount of time" or something like that.

I threw Xalxe on the list. I sincerely do not believe that him seeing the outline beforehand gives him any strategic advantage. I only showed him that so he could run a random simulator and tell me if it looked balanced/fun, and he doesn't know specifics. If any other players have a problem with him playing, you can PM me and let me know.

Only one spot left, otherwise.

EDIT: Xalxe has also deleted the PMs, so he only has what he remembers... and considering the outline was four pages long, I doubt he remembers much.

Chapter 1: The Right to Stay

Hello, contestants! You've all traveled from all over the world to be here in beautiful The Whole Sort of General Mish Mash! The twenty of you are here to compete for the grand prize of fame, glory, and

eleventy-billion dollars

. But, the name of this game is Endurance... and we have to be sure you have what it takes to be Endurance-quality competitors. Only fourteen of you can make it past this starting point. And so, without any time, wasted, let's get right into our first challenge: the Right to Stay challenge.

Before you are twenty ropes, suspended over a lake. The twenty of you will grab a hold of these ropes and hang on for as long as you can. The six people who hang on for the shortest amount of time will be eliminated.

The Rules

Sometime between now, and 24 hours from now, you may start the challenge.

To start, you must post the following:

[USERNAME] grabs hold of the rope.

After 6 minutes have passed, you must post the following:

[USERNAME] continues holding onto the rope.

You must post this two more times with 6 minutes in between, for a total of three times. After your fourth time, you start to get tired. 6 minutes later, post:

[USERNAME] readjusts to continue holding onto the rope.

Again, you must post this two more times, with 6 minutes in between, for a total of three times. After your fourth time, the wind begins to blow. 3 minutes later, post:

[USERNAME] turns towards the wind and continues to hold on.

You may now continue to post the above every 3 minutes as long as you like. If you miss any post, even by 1 minute too early or too late, you will drop into the water. The six people who hold on the shortest amount of time will be eliminated.

You must start this challenge in the next (expired on 2012-05-31 22:47:29) or you will be immediately eliminated from the competition. After you've started, you may hold on as long as you possibly can.

Ready, competitors? Get set... go!
