It's not the same thing. When I first read it I thought it meant you could do this:

Axxle steals Blue shirt from TwistedSpoon.
TwistedSpoon steals Orange shirt from Elmo.
Elmo steals Blue shirt from Axxle.
Axxle steals Orange shirt from TwistedSpoon.
TwistedSpoon steals Blue shirt from Elmo.
Elmo steals the Orange shirt from Axxle.

And now Axxle can't steal the Blue shirt or the Orange shirt since he's stolen them before and has to open a box.
