My absolute favorite one is the Game of Thrones fan theories about Jon Snow. While in the books (don't watch the show, but I would assume there too) it's believed by everyone that he's Eddard Stark's son by some unknown woman, the fan theory states that he's actually the son of Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen (Rhaegar's abduction of Lyanna sparked the overthrow of the Targaryens). That means that he's Daenerys's cousin, an acceptable spouse for her in Targaryen terms, and possibly the legitimate heir to the Iron Throne. It is SUCH a cool plot possibility.
That's a very, very common theory. It's not one that I buy, personally. but a lot of fans do.
I want us to win just for Yos' inevitable rant alone. -CrashTextDummie

Eh. I think the whole symbolism of each of Eddard's sons getting a direwolf (and him getting the white one because he's a bastard) is pretty strong. I also have trouble believing that he's not a brother to the rest of the Stark kids; they're just too much alike.

That could be more of a stark thing than a Ned thing.
It's either
Ashara Dayne and Ned or R+L imo. There's too much focus on his birth for his mother to be a whore/fisherman's daughter/Wylla.

Well, yes, but maybe it's because he was a different Stark kid. :3 That's a good point, though. But one could make an argument for blood not mattering in who the gods choose to touch.
And they chose an actor that looks like the other Starks, kind of... But with curly hair? But that's the actor. And yes, they were raised exactly the same, so that accounts for that.
I didn't doubt it until very recently when
we found out that that woman who Stark's wife thought was the noble mother actually wasn't
. And I never really thought of Ned as the bastard type.
That was excellent. A few changes that annoyed me, but they're easily worked around. Great ending.

It was ok. Alfie Allen stole the show as usual. House of the Undying was disappointing as fuck, but I guess it's hard to translate to TV. Jon's storyline continues to suck. This made him actually look like a turncloak, not to mention they fucked up one of the book's best characters, so much fucking wrong with this whole arc. Hopefully Mance and
Did you see where they put the bastard?
will fix it.
I'm surprised they even disfigured Tyrion, good that they did. Brienne's scene was awesome.
Hey guys, when Dany was walking through the house of the undying, and she walked into the pseudo/dream throne room - what was it covered in? What was on the throne? Say it outloud to yourself.

WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS SHIT
He turned his back on the Northern gods the same way that he turned his back on his promise to the Freys. That's the only way it made sense to me.

Jon looks nothing like a turncloak, did you forget everything that was said in episode 8?
House of the Undying was actually pretty solid for what it was. It couldn't be anything like the way it was in the books, but I really liked what they did with it. Partially because we got Khal Drogo.

Uh? It was given very little build up, it'd not surprise me if a few people misunderstand it and think he's actually gone over. a 1-liner 2 episodes ago? not THAT MUCH
are you thinking of me when you're with somebody else?
