Pfft, never knew it was different in dota from ladder.

Also yes battle hunger rub would be win.

btw having lots of trouble with server as of late... keeps saying I'm not connected to steam server and DC's me every few mins. Anyone know what's up with this? Hasn't let me play for a few days now..

Today, I learned that you can't morph to 1 health as morphling when you have aegis; I presume that this is because aegis triggers at 1 health, not when you die.

That's not true. You can morph to 1hp just fine.

You probably had a DoT on you.

Edit: Also, if that were true Armlet would also trigger Aegis.

No, I'm 100% sure that I had no dots; there were no enemy heroes within, uhh, 5000 range, and I hadn't had any contact with enemy heroes in the last 20 seconds.

I just watched it. You dove their fountain, used replicate to escape, and an Invoker projectile followed you while you morphed agi.
Replicate doesn't disjoint projectiles.

Hilarious, but not a mistake.

This is a Public Service Announcement:
Learn how to play Storm Spirit, and then go play him in a dozen matches. In the mid game he's a decent ganker with a lot of mana issues and big jukes, but if you get him farmed in the late game, oh boy.

Storm Spirit with 60+ mana regen per second is the most fun you can have in DotA. Leaping from your fountain to your T3 towers deals 900~ magic damage to everyone, and you'll have enough mana to spare to get clear and do it again in another ten seconds. Not to mention the fact that you are completely inescapable if they have to retreat. He is the stuff of nightmares for anyone looking to pull back from a siege.

All of this with one of the best personalities in the game. If you haven't played Storm Spirit, you are missing out on an amazing part of DotA.

I just cannot get into Dota. Hon will always have more responsive/tight controls, better game-aesthetics (e.g ghost marchers vs phaseboots, devo ult vs pudge ult, things like that), and feel more fluid and visceral. It feels like I'm playing CoD after playing years of Unreal Tournament. =(

yeah in game voice chat for dota is real shit. i have a mumble server i use 2 chat at my friends when im playin and its def the way 2 go if u care about voice chatting~

dotas controls are just as responsive and tight, its just that in hon they decided to get rid of front end animations. its a balancing feature between heroes in dota and takes some getting used to. i have several friends that took awhile to getting used to dota again after hon but havent looked back since they adjusted.
