The biggest clue to this lylo is Benmage. I know I keep bleating on about it but there is no reason on earth that I would kill someone who thought I was town ahead of someone who said Maxwell was scum numerous times. And ahead of two innocents here I'll leave you a few quotes.

If your basing the final vote on his claim or as DLG says the fact I supposedly knew it was 4-2 which I didn't - I just wasn't quick to assume the last scum was Maxous. Because frankly I thought it was between him and Maxwell. A townie I feel in Maxwell's shoes if he thought it was 5-1 (~which DLG seems to think he is) would have considered that perhaps I was the scum ahead of Maxous. But, he doesn't, he just votes his buddy knowing it will get him town cred today. Too much bloody town cred I must add.........

not sure what to make of benmage at this point, the post people are voting him for is bad but comes across as somewhat more condescending and sarcastic than I think people are reading it. His defense also looks bad to me but the stangercoug/code_x/fakegod votes on his wagon give me pause.

The benmage kill is a frame-job at best and you need to see that - regardless of his read on me, he'd be forced to reconsider for lylo, and there would be a clear alive as well, who probably wouldn't vote me. The fact that Code is cherry-picking everything negative benmage said about me whilst ignoring the places where he reconsiders. I mean, just consider, please, a hypothetical endgame where I shot DLG as scum - do you think you would stop to consider me as scum in that scenario? I don't. If I was that confident in my claim, why force myself into a 1v1 instead of creating a false dichotomy? Conversely, benmage was THE BEST POSSIBLE KILL CODE COULD HAVE MADE. Take out the pro-town but uncleared player, and suddenly people wonder if something is up and start to panic and he could easily just stick his hand up his dead butt and work him like a puppet to incriminate me.

I say otherwise. You were scared of Benmage's reads. Even if I'm scum which I'm not there is no logical reason to shoot an unclaimed person ahead of two cop innocents.

Go and find the positive things he said about you. There was about one/maybe two against 8/9 the other way. And shottyiszik - I know you might want to brush him off and forget him but he is you also.

You also know that both DLG and Psyche both suspected me more. Voted the previous day - have raised more suspicion etc.

The Antihero kill is a logical scum kill. He suspected about 75% of the scum team.

Mastin/Nero were killed the same night so one was scum - the other SK.

DV - pretty sure he got killed because you found out he was the JOAT. He wasn't a prime candidate for a NK. Pretty sure also that he investigated you just a blinking shame he didn't say so whilst alive.

The most compelling point for Code_X is the hesitancy on Day 7 and even on this Day 8.

Hesitant Day 7 was purely due to thinking we were at 5-1 and disbelieving Maxwell's claim then and there. Not many had actually suspected Maxous and to be honest I didn't know for sure out him and Maxwell who would be scum.

Day 8 fair enough. Though I've had a few bad experiences in lylo recently which I can share if you want both as town and both voting a townie. So although my vote was always going on to Maxwell it was a bit of meta worry more than anything. I lost Open 414 about a day after the thread opened.

I don't know. Bit gutted but town were screwed after lynch Day 3 with still 6 scum and a SK left with only 10 townies remaining. I'm just sorry couldn't convince you guys any more. The Benmage kill really was the thing I thought you'd both go with more than anything else.

And you know for Andrew to come in shoot the Godfather at night and then name the scum team is incredibly suspect, whether he pleads his innocence or not regards the IP addresses. I'd be pretty riled if I was scum in that situation also so can understand LLD's reaction totally.

Nah, he picked up near the end. It's my fault for fucking up straight away in lylo. There was so much to use against Mawwell town should have lynched him if I'd just been more confident - but due to other experiences fucked it up.


Edit - Max. Yeah I think in the end if they looked at Shottyiszik more and the interaction with SC they' have you got. But I went from one extreme to the other.

PV - I think you did the right thing regards just replacing him - none of us alive assumed anything sinister was going on (or I didn't anyway). I'd be have more annoyed if the game was abandoned. A tough spot for all concerned really but I'm glad you kept it going even though we ballsed it up.
