I'm a Dayvig. I'm not claiming the amount of shots I have yet, but

I am using them all by the end of today.

This way, all of my power will be used by the time the Mafia have the chance to kill me. I decided to claim today because I'm usually seen as "never going to be nightkilled," and being killed Night 1 will leave more pro-town players alive.

I recommend that everyone reads kanye's Mini Normal, which was basically the same thing but smaller and with less role options. I suspect that mostly roles that were not in that game are being used for this game.

I retract my claim of Dayvig. If there is a Dayvig that has not claimed, they should shoot Salamence. There are not two Dayvigs in this setup.

Since Salamence is actually less likely to be killed than me, this was probably a good outcome. Salamence is definitely town unless someone wants to Dayvig him.

I figured there were three possibilities: Either I would get shot, the real Dayvig would stay quiet, or someone else would claim. I figured that the only players who would immediately Dayvig me for claiming weren't exactly intelligent players to begin with, so having them be confirmed town would be a good thing. If they stayed quiet, they would be hidden for the time being, and there would be a lot of reactions to my claim. If someone else claimed, there would be a confirmed-town Dayvig who still had shots.

I expected the second possibility to happen, which would garner a ton of reactions.

Orrrrr maybe there would turn out to be no dayvig in the setup?

Massclaim seems like a pretty good way of getting our cop/watcher killed if he exists. I guess it could be useful to, say, if there are two bookies in the setup kill them both since probably one is town and one is scum, but that seems like a pretty big gamble that the setup is built this way and it's probably not worth it imo
