Okay, to be honest, I misread read Shamrock and read you name there instead, and I was thinking of Shamrock's jump onto the Purrfect Panda wagon when posting 119. So you could accuse me of jumping on the newest wagon, but that's it.In post 199, Starbuck wrote:Welcome to the game, Brandi.
@Shamrock - You aren't the only one.
@Scigatt - You say that you were suspicious of me before absta's 120, given your Post 63, but this was your reply to me when I asked about your suspicion:
Let me requote what I said:In post 95, Scigatt wrote:Scigatt wrote:
I'd guess Slandaar or Starbuck as one of her partners.
How so?
On Slandaar: See post 66, though I'm thinking now that link is pretty weak.
On you: She only really started to get agitated when you started to interrogate her. I figured maybe he would have been reacting to you attacking her as her partner.
...you know what, on review, these reads are bullshit. Please do not take at face value.
So you said right here in Post 95, that your read was bullshit, but you were suspecting me all along with no case of your own?-

I really don't see how this is role-fishing. Though it is a poorly worded question.-

I'm on my phone and I don't want to quote and stuff on it because it's annoying as hell.
But for everyone who says I'm not being aggressive, my main scumread was Noraa and if I was aggressive towards her, she'd probably have a breakdown.
Big long post on Monday hopefully. Brandi, Scigatt, and Monty are my main scumreads.-

Okay, I had written up a thing, but I lost it, so here's a slightly shorter version.
I was role-fishing to an extent. I believe absta is scum, and I can validate that belief. Let me show you:
Here are his townie games, links are to only absta's posts:
VT - http://forum.mafiascum.net/viewtopic.ph ... er_sort=Go
VT - http://forum.mafiascum.net/viewtopic.ph ... er_sort=Go

VT - http://forum.mafiascum.net/viewtopic.ph ... er_sort=Go
VT - http://forum.mafiascum.net/viewtopic.ph ... er_sort=Go
Have a flip through them and you'll see that the general trend is he is quite aggressive, both in townie and scum reads. His posts are very brief.
Now, I can't find any scum games, but I found an SK game:
SK - http://forum.mafiascum.net/viewtopic.ph ... er_sort=Go
Now, this is a radically different playing style. He comes in as a replacement and BOOM; long constructive posts about why certain people are scum.
Look at this compared to his posts in this thread. He has long posts, much longer than the games in which he is a townie. It's hard to compare it to a game where he replaced in as a SK though. However, he does seem to care a lot more about finding scum than town.
This doesn't fit his meta.
Let me continue with an analysis of his posts in this game alone. The first thing that strikes me is that he is quite careful about not being attacked. When he was attacked and subsequently voted on by Panda he immediately retaliated, voting on Panda the next post after Panda did so on Absta.
Also, he seems incredibly focussed on getting support in the game.
For example, the most recent example when I asked him the question recently, see above. His answer was simply:
"This is role fishing. Code, Elmo, Nat, you see this right?"
This should justify a

Ryan must have been Kyle
I moved from Panda because Monty is a bigger scumread and I'd like some pressure on him. I'd definitely not cry over a Panda lynch as I think the hydra is giving us a lot of filler posts and pleading with us to wait. But, I'm prepared to let them do that and post reads and what not or Rach's case. I'll re-evaluate post that.

Both are anti-town roles, and either way, his playing style in this game doesn't fit his previous games at all. What do you think?-

Note: I fixed the quotation since you didn't do the code to include who the question is actually from in the original post (although you can tell that you are replying to me).
Say what?
This is where the original quote of yours came from:
In post 63, Scigatt wrote:@absta101:Sorry for not contributing. To comment on your spat with Slandaar, I thought he was making better points than you were(point #2 in post 22 was pretty bad). As for noraaa, I don't think her last two posts here are anything but a null tell, but if she is scum,If you want me to make a vote, I like what Sawyer ans Slandaar(excepting the first post) have said so far, but I'm not really feeling the Shamrock case, so I'll sheep Sawyer for now.I'd guess Slandaar or Starbuck as one of her partners.
Vote:absta101
I asked you how Slandaar or I could be one of noraaa's partners in Post 95. I wasn't talking about post 119.
So then you said that your read was bullshit here, and then continued your suspicion of me afterwards even though you said it was bullshit. You also mention Shamrock in this post, so you differentiate between us. Any more excuses?

Your initial question wasn't very harmful.
However, your post in #213 is.
There is a reason that rolefishing is anti-town. Stating the reasons why- would also be anti-town. Just think about it for a bit.-

There is a massive difference between an SK and Mafia.
Sk's are still uninformed minorities.
Even more so- as they don't know who town or scum are. They have no buddies.
They have the ability to scumhunt.
It's much easier to look town as SK than mafia because as an SK you can do genuinely town things.-

Sorry, you're going to have to spell this out for me.
How can asking questions to determine whether someone is scum or not anti-town? Isn't it what we're meant to be doing? Scumhunting? Or was that back in 2010?
-----
Next post, that ninja'd me:
I just think that seeing as absta has played a certain way for around 5-10 games as VT, it's odd to not consider it strange that all of a sudden his playing style changes dramatically.-
