Guild Wars II GAME RELEASE happened a while ago

This forum is specifically for discussing non-Mafia games
(board, card, video, we're not picky)
.
Playing
such games should happen in the Mish Mash forum, of course.

However, Brandi will note that she should be happy about the gift part, since she's apparantly got a girl-crush on my sister.
One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.

Hey all. I didn't pre-order but I just bought a new pc laptop (yay) and can thus handle the Guild Wars 2. I shall add you all.
Also I am doing a research project on gaming, with Guild Wars as the main game I'm using, so that should be cool.

We will be conducting a stress test on
Thursday, August 9 from 12:00 Noon PACIFIC Time to 4:00 PM PACIFIC Time
.

The stress test is open to anyone who has pre-purchased Guild Wars 2.

We will be actively working on the game during the event, so you might experience connectivity problems or discover features that are not working as designed. Any issues you experience are a result of the rigorous conditions of the stress test, and are in no way representative of the state of the game at launch. By participating in this stress test, you’re helping us make Guild Wars 2 a better game. Thanks for your cooperation—we’ll see you in-game! ~RB2

I know. I give props to Anet for doing stress tests. I just love reading the facebook wall for Guild Wars 2.

Post your builds, only way I'm going to learn more about PvP and what shit I could be up against.

Are there any good warrior builds for PVP and PVE at the same time?

Good, as in, optimal? I'm not sure, but I'd say no.
Edit: ohhh hey I'm retarded; the thing Fate linked did indeed have traits and stuff.

You are auto bumped to lvl 80 when you go to PvP land and can choose whatever traits you want.... so hybrid builds aren't necessary

Sweeet. I'm more of a PvE fanatic than PVP.

thinking about getting or commandeering a Vent server for everyone to hang out in. Is a lot easier than managing skype calls and hosting shit and adding people when they show up. They can just hop in the guild vent server when they come on and chill in the different subsections (PvE, PvP, WvW) etc.

ALSO DIBS ON GUILD LEADER BECAUSE I HAVE THE MOST EXPERIENCE

Gates of Madness. One week (-12 hours), be there.
