That makes a broken game then. If you roll a 19, I can just keep throwing balls at you at the same rate that you can attempt to cross and you can never win. If that happens to everyone, no one can win.

Getting a ball tossed at you means the NEXT time you attempt to cross, you need 10+3x to cross.

Also, when you don't succeed at a dice attempt, any +3 stacks you had on you go away. They don't stay til the end o' time.
