Matt- the women's games are free! Granted, women's is a different game from men's (like baseball is to softball), but just as good once you learn the differences. You have no excuse!

I'm not into sports, is that an excuse? ;)

I have never heard that. Ever.

In post 46, gorckat wrote:LAX is lacrosse, bro.

Fastest game on two feet and fastest growing youth sport in America.

ADD: And the Hopkins men's team has like 43 or 44 straight tourney appearances and a load of championships.

LAX is an airport, silly.

Also, I disagree with this. College Lacrosse has existed for over a century and there are just over 1000 collegiate Lacrosse teams at ALL levels, both men's and women's. College Ultimate, on the other hand, has existed for just over 40 years and has over 700 registered collegiate teams, men's and women's. So yea. =P

That said, if you go by Google, you'll find any of the following listed as the fastest growing college sport (in addition to the two above): Bass Fishing, Quidditch, Tennis, Mixed Martial Arts, Roller Derby, etc...

BAM

Youth, not collegiate. Not many rec league's with 6 year olds playing Ultimate.

Oh, well no one cares about youth sports. Although HS level ultimate is pretty strong. Also lacrosse sucks. =P

I honestly don't know my schedule yet for next summer but I'm hoping I can make any of the weekends.
Shouldn't be that hard since I live less than 20 minutes form Johns Hopkins...

I will have to make sure once we get closer, but I will be coming from the DC area so if anyone needs a ride up 95 I can supply three.
How many people long for that "past, simpler, and better world," I wonder,
without ever recognizing the truth that perhaps it was they who were simpler and better,
and not the world about them?
