I almost went along with it, but decided I'm better off claiming VT to uncomplicate things, so I did. Ended up GreyIce never said shit to him. Was scary.

I sort of think that it would be better if the traitor had the cop power as opposed to the ny scumteam. I had an inkling a few people were scum but never would have outted myself for it but never actually decided to go through with things (and thank god I didn't because I thought MoS was scum earlier on and hinted a couple of times at being scum to him). Definitely didn't know Molla, though.
In the end, I was really banking on sicillians inheriting the kill after the NY mafia died. I figured since I couldn't find any partners, the other sicillian was hiding and waiting and we would be in a decent position once a good portion of the VT claims were purged and they started looking in the PR claim pool, but it wasn't meant to be.

It was still a really, really enjoyable game, though.

As I said before: 4:1:16 was what I'd expect in a normal setup. This needed a slightly higher amount of scum (namely, 1 more sicilian).

What I wanted to commentate on was hito's last video: not that my vote would have changed much (it didn't matter anyway), but halfway through the video I was convinced that you're town. But then you went on and on and on about the exact same thing... the video should have been shorter.

Majority of my play was outside the thread. Kept pretty good logs of everything (aim, Pms, Skype) if anyone wants a specific combo published.

THAT randomization was a bit op. Like seriously, I can't tell you how much I think being able to talk to people face to face about the game for the first few days helped, not least of all cuz I got to reallllllly cement myself as town before anyone had the chance to leap on me for silly reasons.

And don't get me wrong, I love you guys, but I'm so glad I don't have to go up there just to slap any of you for being scum.

There was a pretty massive gambit to protect the tracker, btw, I just wish it had worked. I forget the precise order of things, but basically I told Reck like the second the game opened that I had an idea about fakeclaiming power privately to a few people for reactions. He ended up fakeclaiming that my role was tracker to Fate/Nuwen (although I don't think they particularly believed him), after which point I tried to spread it to a few other people. Throughout most of that timespan, I'd been talking to quite a few people in the game, one of which was MattP, and when he claimed tracker to me I told him about my fakeclaim thing and agreed to share his results in future days and try to draw fire away from him. I trusted Pie to be town (although he did fakeclaim bodyguard to me) so I told him about MattP's role, then on my last day in Raleigh told Reck, who'd already claimed VT to me, that I knew who the tracker was (without saying who) and asked if he was willing to provide a

second

layer of protection by claiming his results in thread on future days. I think MattP later told Reck that he was tracker, like a few days after I got back to Tampa.

So basically we had this whole huge thing worked out meant to draw fire away from one of our biggest power roles if he hadn't been such damn obvioustown as to get NKed anyway. He was paranoid that he was going to die because he'd claimed to NS and he thought NS was scum, but nope.

Despite that rather spectacular failure, I got some pretty strong reads out of all that, so I guess it was worth it.
