Nice village near spawn in a plains biome near a bunch of other biomes and an ocean, used it myself for my first world back in 1.2.5.
There are tons of little holes in the plains biome you spawn in that dump you out in an underground cave system that is massive and rich.
I'd watch videos of somebody playing the seed just for the personal nostalgia. Check it out. Have fun!

I'd think we'd do more stuff like that, it looks like awesome fun. Which reminds me, Xalxe, what if plague and I have trouble scheduling our Spleef match?
