I'm not sold quite yet, something is telling me it could be the BW Tokens of rotation.

Although it will play a top 5 creature in Messenger.

Golgari Zombies is going to be really good out of the gate, because it's losing almost nothing to rotation. There's a shitload of grave hate around though, so I wouldn't be surprised to see it fall off once people really get brewing in New Standard.

More importantly, if we do RTR Sealed, are we going to use the Guild Pack mechanic from the prerelease or just regular sealed?

I don't think I could simulate the Guild Packs, so it'd just be regular Sealed (like the RTR League).

So, serious question, because I keep going back and forth: Rakdos Zombies, Golgari Zombies, or Jund Zombies?
One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.

Also, since I'm going to be playing paper magic starting with the RTR Pre-Release, I went ahead and dug up what I could find of my collection of cards, and looked/tallied up everything I knew to be over $5 apiece... turns out I'm sitting on over $1500 in just valuable rares in my binder, nevermind the bulk cards, and the $2-4 cards & promos that I didn't bother adding up.

What does Red give you? Green? What would you have to cut if you went for Jund instead?

Red gives Rakdos Cackler, Falkenrath Aristocrat, Rakdos, Pillar of Flame, Brimstone Volley, and Dreadbore. Green gives Dreg Mangler, Lotleth Troll, Slitherhead, and Abrupt Decay. If I went Jund, I'd probably have to cut a lot of the burn, and probably the Cackler and Slitherhead.

Slitherhead and Cackler are both pretty bland cards for zombies. Rakdos is probably not as useful as he could be in that deck either. I'd go BG personally.

Well, to be fair, if I stay Rakdos, the deck quickly becomes "BR Aggro that has Blood Artist tricks and a Zombies subtheme", rather than true BR Zombies. Slitherhead is pretty bland, but Scavenge is really nice. The feeling I'm getting is that BR will be faster, while BG will be more resilient, and BRG will have more tricks at the cost of being a lot slower.

Currently at the prerelease. Choose Azorius guild to start out, but there seems to be more buzz about this set than other recent sets. Anyone know why? Nothing about them is making me giddy with joy....

definitely want the blue-red guild when that one comes out.

Its mainly nostalgia, I think. The original ravnica was one of the best sets of all time, and certainly RGD was one of the best draft formats of all time. We'll see if this one lives up to the name.
