With my new computer, I can use a 32X texture pack, with EVERY fancy setting, graphics-card intensive setting ON, and STILL expect a LOW-END frame rate of at least 100+.

I now love minecraft even more.

Even with my new laptop with 6GB of RAM (2GB allotted to Java), I can barely get 20 fps on default, even with OptiFine. Stupid default graphics card.

Attention everyone! A single

Block of Diamond

has been hidden somewhere in the SpawnTown!

It is not covered by any solid block (Glass, water, etc. are fair game) and will only remain in its current location for 1 week as of this post! I will be checking on it every day to make sure it is still there - the first player to find it must PM me with a 3rd-person screenshot of them and the Block. They will then be given a super-secret-prize for finding the Block and 1 hour head start for the second "Find the Block" contest!

NO PRIZE WILL BE GIVEN IF THE BLOCK IS STOLEN, ETC.

Don't be a dick.

Suggestions for prizes, hiding locations, and future Blocks-to-Find will be taken via PM!

P.S. izak, I'm online for a while as of now. PM me when/if you have time to Spleef.

The Winner Records Building for

Maestro's FIND THE BLOCK Contest

has been constructed!

Its coordinates are -457, 65, 254 and it is located on the West side of SpawnTown.
(It's just inside the Glowstone Door that would lead out to UT/IUT's Plantation.)

The winner's names will be added here and new floors will be built as Rounds are completed. This will be a WHENEVER I FEEL LIKE IT Challenge. (Times when I will hide the Blocks will vary, depending on when I can safely assume the server is empty...or when I know I can hide amongst a crowd.)
