The only thing we really need is torches atm. we have plenty of cobble. If you have torches to donate, leave them in the chest by the well in town and someone can pick them up and finish lighting up the area.

Now, as for the 1.4 upgrade:

IMPORTANT WITHER NOTE

I have established

Wither Island

. The Safe Box is located at {-2400, -2100}. There is a nether path leading to it; go to the Blaze farm and follow the signs to Wither Island.

This is the only location where you may spawn a Wither Man. Do not leave the island or log off without first disposing of your Wither Man. You may build one here anytime you like so long as you kill it. If you build a Wither Man anywhere else without prior approval, you will be banned for an indeterminate length of time with very little chance of parole. Do not let your Wither Man escape to the mainland or I swear to god I will fuck up your day.

Also, to answer other 1.4 questions: No, you cannot have a command block. No, I will not spawn you a Witch/Wither Man/Wither Skeleton. No, there will probably not be a central beacon creative-moded in anywhere. Yes, you can build a beacon wherever you damn well please. No, you may not have a puppy.

Let it be known that I fully support the rulings made by Xalxe in 7935.

Also, I would not reccommend spawning a Wither without being properly prepared; those guys are a bitch to kill once you've made them. I'd suggest highly enchanted armor, a good bow and sword, and plenty of health and regen potions as a minimum.

@Moneybags I'd say no. There are various buildings and settlements even thousands of blocks away now; the days when you could just walk past the spawntown mountains and be safely removed from civilisation are long gone. And even assuming it's freshly generated terrain, a long way from anything explored before, it is literally impossible to escape a Wither once it's locked onto you, even with Speed II.

As for Wither Island getting destroyed, sure. If enough Wither fights happen there it will be wrecked. Which means it will be a different experience each time.

if anyone needs a project to work on feel free to help out. Fishy seems to have the wall design down well.

we need the wall solidified, the trees impeding the walls cut down, and the entire area lit up, then i was thinking just stick a tunnel in the old wall to the new place and leaving the wall there.
