Hello again friends and family. I like the site's new layout. (New for me anyway)
Good to see lots of new faces. Not as many of the old faces as I'd hoped to see, but I guess that's what happens when you're MIA for 6 years. Think I'm going to try to knock some of the rust off with a newbie game and see if I have enough time to get active again.

Well, I am just an average newbie. Have tried playing a mafia game once on another website, but it resulted in a perfect win and I was scum (killed on second night).
I don't know if any of you know Does Bo Know, but I am his brother (yet obviously not as good at mafia scum as he is...yet).

I still have just about no idea what I am doing (probably why I was killed on the second night). I just know the rules and maybe know a strategy or two from watching my brother play so many times.
Hello, Im Mange and Im from sweden, I found out about the mafia games not so long ago when they started playing it on another forum I usually visit, I played a game there but didnt go well. I wanna learn more and I really think its interesting so I decided to start playing here

Hi folks. I've only ever played one game of mafia, but I've read through a handful of others and watched a couple more play out in real time while engaging in commentary and speculation in the "dead zone", which was a QT for spectators and dead players. I've also recently skimmed the MafiaScum wiki.
Watch as I draw a big fat target on myself and botch the town's only power role through equal parts obvious role strategy fishing, exploitable slip-ups, and total cluelessness about how to use my night power.
Posting English so as not to look like a bot to any user-prunes.
I've played one Role Madness game on another forum and had a blast, but I'm still not clear on a bunch of things on how the game's played here so I won't join a newbie game until I do a sod of a lot of reading/locating information. Maybe not tomorrow, but within a week.
EDIT: Upon further reading, it does not appear that I am well suited to this community; I will, however, not allow that to dissuade me as I am a shit judge of character. Perhaps I shall be wrong as usual, and the worst case scenario is that I find myself encouraged to depart after having gained some gaming experience that will serve me well when playing Mafia in a more apposite environment. I still hold out hope that I'll be dead wrong and in years to come I'll come back to this edit and laugh and laugh and laugh.

My advice to anyone joining this site is to 100% ignore GD for the first six months onsite. This thread is no exception.
You'll come to familiarize yourself with who to talk to and where to post once you use the people you play with in Mafia games to stake down who you want to associate yourself with.
Everything you say and do matters. People will respond in ways you may never see. May those responses be what you intend.
