that would require downloading and setting up a MultiWorld plugin which takes for fucking ever.

plus taxing the server by trying to transfer it over with worldedit

plus lack of initial resources to use

When did we upgrade? I logged on using 1.4.4 a few hours ago just fine.
(Mostly) on hiatus until further notice. Planet MafiaScum 2 will be modded by Inspi and JDGA - go check it out!
